Dam was a successful show heifer for us, was an all American Honoree
and has been a consistent producer. Maternal sister was a high seller in
2007 Early Bird Sale to Nikki Durban for $4,900. Her sire, Outback 8166
was the syndicated high selling bull from Sullivan at $75,000 who is now
deceased with VERY limited progeny. These genetics should prove to be
very valuable for the new owner.

Number Nineteen…..
How about that? We had to do some thinking as to
just when Ron and Christy started the “Early Bird”.
It started out as the one of, if not the VERY FIRST
Labor Day private treaty sales in the COUNTRY!
Almost two decades later it appears the idea of bucking the trend of a traditional October show calf sale
and opting for selling in early September was pretty
good, considering there are over a hundred September calf sales in 2011!
With that said we know you have lots of places to
find that special calf project. You taking the time to
view our offering is very humbling to us and when
you view the cattle in person sale week we know you
won’t be disappointed. Calves are in good health,
gentle, and by sale time most would be considered
“Show” broke.
Please feel free to contact Ron or Christy or any of
the consignors, also again this year I, Kevin Mears of
Stock Options Marketing will be consulting and will
be available to visit about the cattle. If I can assist
you in any way, please feel free to contact me.
