GRANTS
A number of different grants are available
from SUSI (Student Universal Support Ireland).
These are awarded on an individual basis and
are means tested. They’re not usually available
to students undertaking part-time study
or private courses.
SCHOLARSHIPS
BIMM is dedicated to supporting and offering
opportunities to talented and passionate
aspiring musicians. Our aim is to do as much
as we can to help our students succeed.
Over the last year, we’re proud to have offered
over €250,000 in scholarships and bursaries
to those in need of financial help, allowing
them to make the most of their talents. Many
schemes are provided in conjunction with our
high-profile music industry partners, and show
our commitment to supporting talented music
students from all backgrounds.
For 2015/16, we were delighted to announce
our latest BIMM Dublin initiative – the ‘Kevin
Shields Music Production Scholarship’, named
after the ‘My Bloody Valentine’ frontman,
which will cover three years of fees for
one lucky student on the BA (Hons) Music
Production course. To be in with a chance to
receive the scholarship you must first apply
for, and be accepted on, the BA (Hons) Music
Production course.
