3 oz vodka
Heat 1 inch oil in skillet or deep fryer until
it reaches 375°F.
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake well. Strain into 2 glasses filled with ice.
Garnish with lychees and cranberries.

Oil for deep frying
⅛ cup powdered sugar for sprinkling
Meanwhile, place a chocolate kiss in the center
of a wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in the bowl
of water and run it over the edges of the wrapper
to moisten. Fold opposite corners of the wrapper
together over the chocolate and pinch to seal.
Repeat with remaining wrappers.
3 oz lychee liqueur
2 oz cranberry juice
2 fresh or canned lychees, halved (optional)
4 cranberries (optional)
Using tongs, carefully place the wonton kisses in
the skillet. Fry for about 2 minutes or until golden
brown. Flip if necessary.
Place paper towels on a plate. Remove kisses onto
paper towels. Place 2 kisses on each plate. Use a
fine sieve to sprinkle kisses with powdered sugar.

Directions
Cut along dotted lines
Step 1: Print the lantern template (located on the next
page) onto thick, decorative paper.
Step 2: Fold the paper in half lengthwise along the solid
black line.
Step 3: Cut along the dotted lines. Make sure not to cut
all the way to the edge of the paper.
Add tape or glue to one short end
Step 4: Unfold the paper and fold it again along the
same crease but in the opposite direction so that the
black printed lines end up facing the inside of the lantern.
Step 5: Add double-sided tape or glue to one short end
of the paper.
Step 6: Bring short ends together, overlap an inch and
press ends together to seal.
Secure short ends together
Step 7: Stand lantern on its end and place in the center
of the table. Repeat with different paper sizes.
