Influenced by the music of Django
Reinhardt and the city of New Orleans,
The Showarama Hot Jazz Band offers a
fresh voice in the genre of Gypsy Jazz.
Devoted to the technical and passionate
playing required of French jazz musicians,
the group plays an array of original swing
numbers, relaxing waltzes, and playful
arrangements of traditional gypsy and
New Orleans jazz. Showarama’s music is
great for both background music and for
dancing.

The Jumbo Shrimp
Jazz Band
The Nightcrawlers are not your average
second-line street band. Building on the
brass band revolution of the past decade,
when funk, bob and pop tunes were added
to the traditional repertoire, the
Nightcrawlers add new harmonic substance
and challenging arrangements to the funky
New Orleans street sound. Here are
originals, transformed standards and new
tunes contributed by fellow rising young
composers, played by a group of the
Crescent City’s most accomplished jazz
musicians.
Established in 1981, The Stompers
perform New Orleans music in the
traditional style, a music considered the
foundation for Jazz and Dixieland. This is
the go-to Second Line Brass Band of New
Orleans, although they perform for any
function that warrants celebration. The
band also performs jazz funerals. The
Stompers have been enjoyed by audiences
of all ages in Asia, Europe, South America,
across the U.S., and at sea. This band is
perfect for any and all second lines.
The Jumbo Shrimp Jazz Band is a
bold, high-energy group that is best
suited for receptions and other events
where dancing is encouraged. This

Sasha Masakowski
Born in Manila, Philippines, Antoine
Reynaldo Diel is a multi- disciplinary artist
and teacher. He now resides in New
Orleans, and astounds audiences nightly all
throughout the city. Antoine’s band, the
New Orleans Misfit Power, is comprised of
the hardest-working musicians in the city,
and performs repertoire of famous local
artists ranging from Harry Connick Jr. to
Paul Sanchez. His outstanding soulful jazz
singing effortlessly draws listeners into his
music, and through it, creates a strong
sense of unity amongst his audience.
Roots pianist and vocalist Bill
Malchow boasts a strong New Orleans
blues style, and sings with a Dr. Johnstyle New Orleans drawl. His percolating,
second-line style bubbles and boils with
Fats Waller-style Harlem stride and the
steaming New Orleans sounds of Dr.
John, James Booker, Allen Toussaint, and
Professor Longhair. Bill can be seen
performing nightly with either his band,
the Go Cup All-Stars, or with one of the
many other bands he performs with
around New Orleans.
Since beginning her career as a
professional jazz musician in her early
20s, Sasha Masakowski has received vast
acclaim from critics, fellow musicians,
