Dumbleton Hall
is a traditional 19th Century Manor House set in 19 acres
of private gardens and surrounded by Dumbleton Estate’s woodland and hills.
The hotel delivers highly commended cuisine, service and superb bedroom
accommodation which make it the perfect venue to celebrate Christmas time.
In The Cedar Tree Restaurant, The Oak Suite and The Shire Room we cater for
both lunch and dinner parties. All bookings are subject to availability – so book
now to avoid disappointment.
Festive season starts as early as November and runs through to the New Year!
In this brochure you will find a selection of our Festive Season menus but we are
happy to tailor events to suit your requirements with meal options, decorations,
drinks packages and entertainment.

How to make a booking?
Telephone us on 01386 881240 ext. 306 to confirm that the date you require is
available.
This reservation will be held for seven days from your call to give sufficient time to return
your Booking Form with a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of:
- £10 per person for Christmas Fayre Lunch
-£20 per person for Jamie Knight Evening,
Christmas Dinner and Dance, Christmas Day
Lunch and New Year's Eve Party
If we do not hear from you, then the booking will be void.
Upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit we will confirm your reservation in
writing and include details of the balance required no later than FOUR WEEKS prior to the
date of your event after which no refunds will be given or transferred to other services.
Bookings made after 15th November must be paid in full within 5 working days.
If you wish to increase your numbers after final payment is received we cannot guarantee
that this is possible, however every effort will be made to accommodate additional guests.
Guests who make bedrooms reservations relating to any of the above festive packages will
be asked to secure the reservation with a credit/debit card. Full payment for accommodation
must be paid by December 1st and our normal 48-hour cancellation policy will apply with the
exception of reservations for 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th December when cancellations can only
be accepted 7 days prior to arrival.
If cancellation occurs within this time period full payment of the first night’s stay will
be taken as a cancellation fee.

Christmas Events TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Please note:
a) The party you are contracting with is Classic Hotels Ltd., which operates Dumbleton Hall Hotel.
b) The hotel General Manager has the authority to amend these terms and conditions at his discretion.
2. Number booked
a) Provisional numbers will be asked for at the time of booking and the hotel reserves the right to agree a minimum number to be
charged for the event. Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event (not including the day of the event) and, subject
to any minimum number, this will be the number you will be charged for.
b) The hotel reserves the right to change a designated room after appropriate consultation if the agreed minimum numbers are not
met to attend the event. This does not affect any minimum charge.
3. Payment as detailed in the Christmas & New Year Brochure
4. Cancellation by the Customer
a) Should you cancel your booking a charge must be made equivalent to any loss suffered by the hotel. Cost incurred for any
equipment hired by the hotel on your behalf will be added to any cancellation fee.
b) NO CHARGE will be made if cancellation occurs 4 weeks prior to the date of the event, however the deposit will be retained.
c) Cancellation within 4 weeks prior to the date of the event will cause full cost.
d) The cancellation fee is not transferable
5. Cancellation by the Hotel
The hotel may cancel the booking at any time and without any obligation to you in any of the following circumstances:
- If the hotel or any part of the hotel is closed due to fire, alteration or re-decoration, by order of any public authority, or otherwise
through any reason beyond the hotel’s control.
- If you become bankrupt or insolvent or enter into liquidation or have an administrator, administrative receiver or receiver
appointed over all or a substantial part of your assets.
- If you are more than 30 days in arrears with payment to the hotel or company for previously supplied services.
- If the event may, in the hotel General Manager’s reasonable opinion, prejudice the reputation of the hotel.
- If the total numbers booked on the Christmas Dinner and Dance event are not deemed to achieve the minimum number
acceptable to run the function. This will be communicated no more than 28 days prior to the event. Under these circumstances a
full refund or an alternative date will be provided.
6. Liabilities
a) Please safeguard your property. The hotel will not accept any liability for loss of or damage to property or death or illness of or
injury to persons unless caused by the hotel’s negligence.
b) Unless the hotel is liable as referred to in (a), you will indemnify the hotel from and against any and all liability for loss of or
damage to property or death or illness of or injury to persons and against any of the claims, costs, demands, proceedings and
damages arising therefore as a result of the event.
c) You are advised to consider your insurance cover in respect of (b) above.
7. General
a) Goods and services may not be bought or sold on the premises. No tickets whatsoever may be sold at the event.
b) The hotel name, logo and telephone number and name “Classic Hotels” may not be used in any advertising or other publicity
without the prior written consent of the hotel General Manager.
c) No signs, displays, posters or other material may be fixed to the walls of the hotel rooms without the prior authorisation of the
hotel General Manager.
If the contract includes you employing the services of an outside contractor then you will indemnify the hotel against any loss of or
damage to property or death or illness of or injury to any persons and against all claims, costs, demands, proceedings and damages
arising therefrom. Any outside contractor employed by you must report to the Duty Manager at the hotel and sign the hotel’s
standard Contractor Indemnity Form. The hotel reserves the right to refuse access to any contractor in appropriate circumstances.
