AAA Travel has the “insider knowledge” to make your travel planning easier. We’ve
identified six steps to help you get started with your day-by-day Disney itinerary planning.
First, we’d like to introduce you to a collection of vacation planning tools to help customize
your Disney experience in advance to make your vacation even better.
These tools include:
An itinerary planning website that allows you to make day-by-day plans and
manage your vacation details. (See page 6 for more information)
•Disney FastPass+ service, gives you the ability to reserve a time to visit some
attractions, entertainment experiences and Disney Character experiences before
you even leave home. (Valid Theme Park admission and online registration required. Disney FastPass+
•
attractions and entertainment experiences, the number of selections you can make and available arrival windows are limited).
MagicBands, cool and colorful wristbands for each traveler that allows you to:

Board Disney’s Magical Express® transportation from Orlando International Airport to
your Disney Resort hotel.
• Open your Disney Resort hotel room with a tap
• Enter the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks (valid Theme Park admission required)
• Access the Disney FastPass+ attractions and shows you’ve selected

Customize Your MagicBands
Go to AAA.com/GetStarted
Set up registration with your email address so you can
customize your MagicBands, plan your daily itinerary, get an
advance FastPass+, make dining reservations, and download
the mobile app so you can access your plans while you’re in
Walt Disney World® Resort.
AAA Tip: To ensure you make the most of your vacation,
AAA recommends starting this process as soon as you receive
this packet from your AAA Travel Agent. Have your Resort
Confirmation number ready for the next step.
Step 2
Link Your Reservation
Linking your reservation allows your MagicBands and
FastPass+ to be uniquely associated with you. You will verify the
names of your traveling companions during this step.
AAA Tip: Have your traveling party together while going
through this process. This way, everyone’s favorite attractions
can be planned in advance, and each person can customize
their very own MagicBand and character icon in Step 3.
MagicBands can be customized for each traveler with their names inscribed and their
choice of seven available colors. Simply click “Personalize MagicBands” to start.
AAA Tip: Be sure to customize your MagicBands as soon as possible after you receive
this packet; and at least 11 days prior to arrival. If you don’t, no problem – you can pick up
your standard-issue MagicBand at your Disney Resort hotel registration area.
MagicBands are available to Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and are available for purchase at select Walt Disney World Resort
merchandise locations. Charging privileges are only available for Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. Credit card must be presented at
Disney Resort hotel check-in for purchases with MagicBand. Purchases are charged to your Disney Resort hotel account.

Now that you know which Theme Parks you’ll visit on which days, you can
plan those special restaurant experiences. Click on “Make Dining Reservations”
where you’ll find nearly 100 restaurants that accept advance reservations.
AAA Tip: You can make reservations 180 days prior to the first day of your
arrival, and many popular restaurants are booked well in advance. If you can’t
get advance reservations, check in at the restaurant the same day to find out
about last-minute availability.
