WCSC Grapevine March 2016 Wiesbaden Community Spouses’ Club Grapevine Make Friends, Make Memories, Make a Difference Visit us online at www.wiesbadenspousesclub.com A Word from our President Dear Members, It seems winter is finally over! I say that with a whisper, just in case Mother Nature is playing tricks. The flowers are popping up and tiny little leaves are starting to regrow on the trees. I watch the winegrowers preparing the vines for spring and the tractors are out again after a long, grey winter. I am ready for the warm days of spring! February was a fantastic month for WCSC. Our gala, aka, VICE Night, was a huge success! Our gala chairperson, Ashley Fletcher and her committee did an amazing job. It was a fun, successful evening. As we turn our attention to spring, WCSC’s Board of Governors will be hosting an Open House at our new home on Friday, April 1st, from 10:00-1:00. Stop by and visit, socialize, and shop. Another wonderful event WCSC members can enjoy is the GAWIC Bazaar on Saturday, March 12th. This event is a flea market with many opportunities to shop and eat. Visit www.derfrauenclubwiesbaden.de for more information. I know many of our members love to travel. This month’s luncheon is all about traveling on a budget. Please remember to respond by the RSVP date, as we have a limited number of seats and are unable to accept late reservations. Enjoy the many Easter markets this month. If you are new to Wiesbaden, the markets are worth a visit. You will be amazed by the artists and their craftsmanship. I look forward to seeing all of you at the WCSC luncheon.
