The Yalding Gardens were established 15 years
ago as Yalding Organic Garden to promote organic
gardening in association with the Henry Doubleday
Research Association. Five years ago HDRA left
and since then two tenants have tried different
formulae for keeping these lovely gardens open to
the public.
The current position is that a large group of
volunteers has been working since March 2012
with the leaseholders, Loddington Farms, to
maintain the five acre gardens and secure their
future for your enjoyment.
Come and explore the large range of specimen
gardens set in five acres of Kent countryside.
Reflecting gardening history the 18 gardens
include the Jekyll garden, the 13th century
Apothecary's garden and the Wartime garden.

Beautiful gardens need a lot of love and we couldn’t
maintain ours without an enthusiastic and dedicated
team of volunteers.
