Dear Members
Thank you to all the members who attended
the Fa Cai Night held in the Club’s vacated
restaurant. Your presence and participation
in the games certainly made it a fun and
enjoyable occasion. Kudos to the organising
committee members as their personal
involvement made the evening a success.

deejay is also engaged to dish out line dance
music on Thursdays. These are efforts taken
in the hope of increasing patronage to the
Deck Bar. So come on down to the Deck Bar
to sing, dance and be merry!
The unexpected withdrawal by Sea Bliss
Restaurant at the end of January certainly
inconvenienced members intending to
hold their Lunar New Year celebrations in
the restaurant and we are glad to secure
a new operator sooner than expected.
Goldenbeach Seafood Paradise is now
operating the Club’s restaurant and I hope
you will extend your support by dining at the
restaurant regularly.
Active lifestyle is essential for ones’ good
health, so why not make full use of your
membership to achieve this by joining the
various sports activities like badminton and
tennis evenings, Friday league bowling or
workout in the Club’s fully equipped Gym.
If you are not into sports, you can join the
social dance class or other social activities.
We are also pleased to update that the
laying of new water pipes to supply the
swimming pool area have been completed
and things are back to normal.
Patronage for the Deck Bar and Encore KTV
have been declining and we have decided
moving karaoke to the Deck Bar while
Encore KTV remains for those who wish to
sing privately. We have also engaged Adil
& Friends as the new resident band since
With regards to the Club’s land lease
renewal, we are pleased to inform that we
are in advanced talks with a statutory board
to help head the Club’s land lease. We hope
to be able to provide concrete details for
you at this coming AGM which is scheduled
for 30 June 2013.

Goldenbeach Seafood Paradise started in April 2010. The idea was mooted by Michael Teo, the
owner as he was a food fanatic and even without the experience in this business, Michael took
the challenge and opened Goldenbeach. The humble starting was slow which was norm as
not many people knew of its existence.
Steadily over the last 2 years, with words being spread around - that there is a new place tugged
away in Changi Golf Club that was worth trying, business started to improve. With these positive
“word of mouth” effect, Goldenbeach now commands a fair bit of loyal and faithful customers
who frequents the restaurant weekly or fortnightly.
Regular customers preferences to dishes like Peking Duck, Roast Duck, Chilli or Black
Pepper Crab, Salted Egg Crab, Pan Fried Pork Chop, Bamboo Clam have made these dishes
Goldenbeach’s Signature Dishes.
To reward customers’ support, regular monthly offers like “customers get to eat sumptuous food
worth S$150 but pay only S$100”! Customers were also pampered with a Cannot Resist Offer of
a Claypot Braised Chicken for only $1. Another offer to promote business was the “Never Before
Offer” of S$19.90 for a Whole Peking Duck!
Goldenbeach endeavours to make every customer feel wanted, feel recognised and feel
important when visiting the restaurant was what Michael attributed to its success. Not only they
are there to give the best service and food, they are also prepared to adhere to customer’s
request for different recipes and different cooking just to make them happy as they believe,
“A HAPPY STOMACH MAKES A HAPPY CUSTOMER.”
Goldenbeach will now be operating from Changi Beach Club and Michael hopes that more
members of the Club will become his regular customers!
