Pet Policy
Pets are allowed in campgrounds and designated
areas. All pets must be secured by a 5-foot leash and
supervised at all times.
Jackson County charges parking and camping
fees to support operation and maintenance of the
parks. Because our parks system does not receive
money from Jackson County’s general fund or
from property taxes, user fees are essential for
maintaining the quality that park visitors have
come to expect.
Parking fees are charged per vehicle at CantrallBuckley, Dodge Bridge, Willow Lake, Emigrant
Lake, Howard Prairie Lake Recreational Area,
Rogue Elk, Takelma and Upper Rogue Regional
parks.
Annual Parking Permit
An Annual (calendar year) Parking Permit, for
unlimited day-use and reduced camping fees,
is available online at

Office or one of our various vendors in the area.

Jackson County’s well-maintained parks
offer diverse recreational opportunities
with modern facilities for family, friends
and business gatherings.
Emigrant Lake
As one of Jackson County Park’s most popular
destinations, Emigrant Lake has it all. Located
just minutes from Ashland, the park offers a
host of activities for the entire family — from
camping at the RV park or the 42-tent site
campground to swimming, picnicking, fishing,
hiking, boating, canoing, kayaking and playing on
the playground. Day Use: Open year-round
RV Park with Full Hookup
The Point RV park features 32 sites with full
hookups — overlooking 12 miles of beautiful
shoreline on the lake’s north end. Each site
offers water, 50-amp electrical service, sewer,
and ample 14’ x 50’ pads to accommodate any
size RV. The park also includes a restroom and
shower facility. RV Park open year-round The Oak Slope Campground features 42 tent
sites. Sites include a campfire ring and table
with a restroom and shower facility nearby. Oak
Slope Campground open: March - Oct.

280-Foot Waterslide
Refreshing summer fun can be found at the
Emigrant Lake Water Slide. The slide offers
showers, restrooms, picnic tables and a
concession stand with a full menu. Please call
or visit our website for hours and prices. Slide

Howard Prairie Lake
Recreational Area
It’s a recreation bonanza at this
alpine lake high above the southern
Rogue Valley. The lake is a popular
destination for boating, sailing,
and fishing. Campsites are abundant,
and the Pacific Crest Trail is easily accessible.
Features include fishing, camping, and boat
launch facilities at Grizzly, Willow Point, and
Klum Landing (this area features restrooms
and showers). Group Camps are available at
Sugar Pine; and the Lily Glen Equestrian Area
with its corrals and horse trails. Reservations
are accepted for sites at Willow Point at

Howard Prairie Resort offers a restaurant,
store, marina, boat rentals, boat ramp, handicapaccessible fishing platform and picnic area,
and campground with RV hookups, restroom/
shower complex. Reservations available at

Apserkaha on Howard Prairie Lake
Located on the southern shore of Howard
Prairie Lake, this park provides a unique
outdoor experience. The camp is situated on 66
wooded acres and features almost a half-mile
of lake frontage. The secluded lake access is
an inviting feature of the park. Camp facilities
include a preparation kitchen (only with group
reservations) and covered dining area seating
80, 12 fully enclosed, lighted sleeping cabins,
and 9 RV sites with water and electric hookups.
Apserkaha RV sites and Cabins are available
on a first come first serve basis, or the entire
park can be reserved for your group. For

Willow Lake
Dodge Bridge
Cantrall-Buckley
Perfect for a weekend campout, the family
vacation, romantic getaway or business retreat,
this park offers 4.4 miles of lake frontage,
and recreational activities including hiking,
swimming, fishing for trout, bass or crappie,
camping and boating. This picturesque park,
with a beautiful view of Mt. McLoughlin, offers
a 63-site campground (32 tent sites & 31
hookup sites), 4 two-bedroom cabins (sleeps
6) with a kitchen and a bathroom with shower,
2 yurts, and a separate group camp area, which
accommodates up to 150 people. For campsite,

The Rogue River flows along this popular park,
which features a boat ramp, flushing toilets, and
a handicap-accessible fishing platform. Fishing,
rafting and boating are the main attractions at
this park. Day Use is open year-round
The beautiful Applegate River is the focal point
of this park. Four group picnic areas are available
for weddings, receptions, company outings and
other events. A 30-site campground above the
river provides an ideal camping location. A group

Rogue Elk
The upper Rogue River runs along this park for
about three-quarters of a mile, providing good
river access for fishing and rafting. This is the
County’s most popular camping spot, with
prime riverfront campsites, water/electric
hookups, restroom/shower facility and a
playground. For campsite reservations, go to

Takelma
Located just north of Dodge Bridge, this park
is a popular spot among anglers and rafters.
The park offers one-third mile of easy access
to the Rogue River and features a boat ramp,
vault toilet, and paved parking with night lights.

Upper Rogue Regional Park
The park is a great place to access the Rogue
River for rafting and fishing, or to enjoy a
waterfront picnic. Park features include a boat
ramp, picnic tables, barbecues, playground,
restrooms and a handicap-accessible fishing
platform. Day Use is open year-round
Sports Park
The action is fast and fun at this park, which
sports a 10-field little league/softball complex,
a drag strip that is the site of major racing events,
a go-kart track, public shooting range, OHV
riding area and fishing ponds. Day Use: open
year-round
Britt Gardens
Home of the Britt Festivals, an outdoor music
and performing arts festival, Britt Gardens is
located two blocks from historic downtown
Jacksonville. Day Use: open year-round
The Riverhouse on the Rogue River
Located within the Upper Rogue Regional
Park is The Riverhouse overlooking the Upper
Rogue River in Shady Cove. It’s a charming,
modern facility that can be rented for weddings,
receptions, meetings, seminars or other group
events. It has a commercial kitchen, dressing
room, furnished 1,400 square feet of meeting &
exhibit space, inside capacity for 50 seated/ 75
standing, and a deck and garden capacity of 250
people. The Riverhouse is available
seven days a week, year-round.
