No Miscopies
The Aficio™1018 features ‘Scan Once, Copy
Many’ technology (option for Aficio™1015).
This allows you to immediately resume working
on other pressing matters while the Aficio™1018
delivers high-quality copy output. This digital
copier scans originals just once and stores
them into memory, from where they are
reproduced as often as you want. The quality
remains the same throughout the whole job
whether you are making 2 or 20 sets. The
Aficio™1018 produces crisp and clear 600 dpi
copies that look exactly like your originals.
What’s more, no matter what kind of paper
you are printing on, the quality of print is
always immaculate.
Miscopies: often a waste of both time and
money. Yet, from now on, your office will run
more efficiently than ever thanks to Auto Image
Rotation. This handy feature virtually eliminates
miscopies by rotating the image of an original
to match the orientation of the paper in the tray.
So no more trying to figure out which way to
place the paper. A smooth-running office: it’s

No generation copies
With the Aficio™1018, the risk of damage
to your original from recirculative feeding is
eliminated. You can now take away the original
after one scan, while the copied sets keep

importance is the reduced wear and tear on
the scanner.

The Rotate Sorting function on the Aficio™1018

Faxing is also done in a flash: scanning in
2 seconds and transmission in 3. Books, A3
originals and magazines can be faxed directly
from the platen glass without making copies
first. No waiting times whatsoever: you’ll be
off to a flying start!
You are now no longer limited to printing
on A4-paper only. These compact machines
accurately reproduce all types of documents
up to A3-size so no need for an additional
A3 printer! What about easy handling and

Versatile Features
The Aficio™1015 and Aficio™1018 take a lot
of time-consuming worries of your hands.
The printer controller supports a number of
very useful features such as Slip Sheet and
Auto Continue. The first of these allows the
insertion of a slip sheet after every page.
And when an error such as a print overrun,
a memory overflow or full memory occurs,
there is no need to leave your desk: printing
automatically resumes with Auto Continue.
Flexible Paper Handling
Faxing non-standard documents, printing on
envelopes, copying magazines… your office
