Special rates available for groups over with 25 people attending and youth / children under 17. Contact us for a quote.
Guest groups will be accepted on condition that they accept our terms and
conditions provided once enquiry is made. All bookings are only secure once a
deposit is paid and Guest group agreement is signed.
Dorion Bible Camp (One Hope Canada) is a distinctively Christian organization.
Our personnel policies are built on principles taken from the Bible. The
Scriptures are the final authority guiding our faith and actions. Our
understanding and interpretation of Scripture is consistent with the evangelical
Christian tradition. Our purpose and statement of faith are included in our
brochure. In renting our facilities to others we wish to show respect and
hospitality. In turn, we ask those who come to our camps to be respectful of our
stated positions and while on site not to corporately or publically practice or
promote any beliefs or lifestyle that are in conflict with our principles and the
purpose for which we exist.
Our story
Camp Dorion has been serving in the community with a
heart for children and youth since 1946. We aim to build
character through the message of the gospel and
provide experiential learning at camps packed with fun,
games and activities.

Our location
Eagles Nest and Camp Dorion are nestled between
the trees on the bank of Black Bay. Coldwater
Creek gently runs into Black Bay on the one corner
of the property.
The conference centre is 85 km from Thunder Bay
along Highway 11-17 (between Thunder Bay and
Nipigon). The lodge is fully winterised, available in
all seasons.
The property boasts beautiful trails, an ideal
location for canoeing, swimming, hiking, climbing,
archery, games and crafting. We also boast the
highest outdoor climbing wall in Northern Ontario.
In winter, our trails are ideal for cross-country
skiing and snowshoeing. Nature is on our doorstep
with incredible bird life, rustling trees, wildflowers,
succulent raspberry and strawberry plants growing
wild, water everywhere and many other Unique
finds. You will often see deer and other wildlife
scurrying the grounds.
We can assist you with adventure activities,
subject to prior arrangement and availability of
instructors. Additional charges do apply.
Camp Dorion is part of an organisation called One Hope
Canada. (Previously Canadian Sunday school Mission).
They have more than 40 ministry centres across
Canada.
The purpose that has fueled the mission’s passion
since 1927 is that: "We present the Gospel, to those
having the least opportunity to hear of Christ and especially to children and youth, and we disciple believers
for living and serving through His Church."
When you use the Eagles Nest as a Guest group it
supports the summer camp mission and ministry of
Dorion Bible Camp.
