The Courtyard is a health, beauty and wellbeing practice which not only offers beauty treatments
but also holistic and clinical therapies. It is an independently owned business situated in a
detached, stand-alone building with a central courtyard and 22 private parking spaces. Having
been totally refurbished, it offers a relaxing out-of-town experience using well known products
such as Clarins, Jessica, St. Tropez, Kissed by Mii, Lycon, Sterex and Xtreme Lashes. We have a
team of professional and welcoming staff who will look after you with the highest standard of care.

Electrolysis
Sterex are the experts in hair removal and offer a wide range of disposable one-piece and two-piece
sterile electrolysis needles and epilation equipment. Electrolysis is the only permanent method of
hair removal. It is ideal for unwanted facial hair, however it can be used on any area. As there are

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is performed using a variety of techniques specifically designed
to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones,
and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart. It
involves the techniques kneading, stroking, friction, tapping, and vibrations.

Hot Stone Massage
During a hot stone massage basaltic rocks that have been heated in water are used
in two ways; some stones are wrapped in towels and placed on specific energy
centres, known as chakras, along the body to align and re-balance the body’s natural
energy flow, whilst other stones are used by the therapist to perform deep tissue body
massage. The heat of the stones penetrates deep into the muscle tissue allowing the
muscles to relax 4-5 times quicker than in a standard body massage.

Hopi Ear Candling
Hopi Ear Candling is a relaxing and non-invasive treatment of the ears. It is used
to benefit many problems and conditions related to the ear, nose and throat area,
as well as creating a calming feeling. The process of Hopi candling involves a
specially designed hollow candle being placed just inside the ear canal. The Hopi
candle is then lit and the suction that is formed removes impurities. Including a
20 minute massage to your face and scalp.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves the application of pressure
to specific points (known as reflexes) on the feet and hands to encourage the body
to heal from within. The therapy is based on the principle that the feet and hands
contain ‘mini-maps’ of the whole body and that by applying pressure using the
fingers or thumbs a reflexologist can have a positive and deeply relaxing effect on
the corresponding parts of the body.

All appointments include a consultation time appropriate to the treatment.
Any pregnancies or medication must be mentioned at the time of booking.
•
Pregnant ladies must be at least 12 weeks pregnant for any Holistic or Clarins treatments and 6 weeks Post Natal (12 weeks if C-Section)
•
To ensure everyone has a relaxing experience, we kindly request that children are not brought along to your treatments.
•
The minimum age for the majority of treatments is 16, please ask at reception for more information.
•
Teenagers from the age of 13 to 16 can have waxing, manicures and pedicures but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
•
We kindly request you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to Commercial Insurance Policy restrictions at The Courtyard, children under the age of
13 are not allowed on the premises with or without an adult.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
•
When booking online the treatment has to be paid for in full at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
•
Treatments booked with our receptionist will incure a 50% cancellation fee if less than 24 hours notice is given.
•
Any treatment over £50 that is booked with our receptionist will require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
