Note from our Director
As the New Year begins, everyone at the Library is excited
about our new, fully automated RFID check-out and return
system. Four self check machines (including one in the
Children’s Room) now allow you to borrow materials,
check your account status, or pay fines. When bringing
back your items, simply use one of our two return machines
and our automated sorter will do the rest. You can get a
receipt from both the check out and return devices if you
like, and our friendly staff is always available to help you
should you need any assistance.
The automated system is part of the Library’s commitment
to continually modernize and improve the services we
offer to the community. We hope you take advantage of
all the resources the Library provides, including numerous
programs for all ages, books, CDs, DVDs, BCDs,
computers, museum passes, online databases, plus movies,
plays and concerts in our beautiful 430 seat theatre.
I look forward to seeing you in the Library in 2015!
