GREENLITE INTRODUCES LEDX FILAMENT SERIES
Groundbreaking LED Bulbs Combine Aesthetics of Incandescent Bulbs
with Flawless Illumination
San Diego, CA (April 26, 2016)—Greenlite, the first manufacturer dedicated solely to green lighting
technologies, launched its V2.0 LEDX Filament Series at LightFair 2016 in San Diego. Featuring
revolutionary LED technology, LEDX offers unrivaled optics and performance in a bulb that looks
and feels like a standard lightbulb.
“We’ve harnessed ground breaking technology in order to create the final generation LED bulb.
Incorporating all of the advantages of LED technology and more; yet with the physical traits of
traditional bulbs that consumers love, LEDX is truly the perfect lightbulb,” said Nina Gupta,
President of Greenlite. “LEDX is the realization of the long-awaited promise to consumers that LED
bulbs can be beautiful, practical and affordable.”
Featuring the same physical appearance as standard bulbs, yet with breathtaking LED illumination, a
15,000-hour life (almost forever) and over 85% energy savings, LEDX is a game changer in the
lighting industry.
The omnidirectional bulbs, dispersing light everywhere, are fully dimmable with traditional
household dimmers and provide museum quality lighting while using 85% less energy. The first LED
Chip-on-Glass bulbs that will be Energy Star certified*, Greenlite’s LEDX Bulbs are also UL
approved for all fixtures, even ones that are fully enclosed.
Greenlite offers its exclusive LEDX frosted version as well as clear LEDX bulbs. LEDX series
includes standard 5W OMNI—40W Replacement; 8W OMNI—60W Replacement; 4W candle—
40W Replacement; and 4.5W Globe—40W Replacement. 75W and 100W replacement bulbs will
launch in the second half of 2016.
