Landmark, Eldorado and Winn Man’s Saginaw, as well as adding Sir Gridmaker 2W. Check out the offering to
find a bull that suits your needs.
If you would like to see the bulls on the farm before the sale, you are welcome to stop in. The bulls will be in
Moose Jaw a couple days prior to the sale so you can see them at Johnstone’s too. If you have any questions
give us a call.

bull within Saskatchewan. We will also assist with delivery
outside Saskatchewan.

Yearling bulls can be kept free of charge and will be
delivered to the buyer before May 1st, at the seller’s
convenience. Regular delivery fees apply. We ask that all bulls returning
to Horseshoe E be insured.
All two year old bulls will be delivered as soon as practical
following the sale.
Semen Testing:
All bulls will be scrotal measured and semen evaluated by a
licensed veterinarian prior to the sale.
Two-year-old bulls remaining at Horseshoe E past
March 14, 2014 will be charged $5/day board.
Insurance:
Will be available sale day. All bulls returning to Horseshoe E
must be insured.
Terms and Conditions
TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at the sale unless
satisfactory credit arrangements have been made previous to the sale. The right of
property shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made
with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. The Auctioneer shall have
the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment or
who has not made credit clearance prior to the sale with the owner. All monies are in
Canadian funds. Sale is not complete until final payment is received.
DISPUTES: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved.
If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer
accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters is final.
EXCEPTION GUARANTEE: In case where the animal is subjected to any hormonal
or surgical reproductive techniques after the sale, this guarantee shall be null and void.
SETTLEMENT: Transportation charges on animals returned to the seller are for
account of the purchaser. No incidental expenses such as feed, care, A.I.,
signing fees, interest, veterinary charges, ect., will be charged by either party when
making settlement. If the seller is successful in proving the animal in question a breeder,
the said animal will be reclaimed by the purchaser at his expense. Should the seller fail to
so prove the animal a breeder, then the buyer is guaranteed a satisfactory replacement
F.O.B. ranch or location of origin or a refund of the actual price. Should a dispute arise
over the quality of a replacement animal, a mediator will be appointed by the owner.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Errors discovered in the catalogue will be corrected by
announcements from the auction stand at sale time and such corrections will take
precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close
attention to announcements.
ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian
Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the
buyers for each animal after settlement has been made.
MAIL OR TELEPHONE BIDS: Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone or mail

received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
BREEDER’S GUARANTEE, BULLS: Should any bull (14) fourteen months of age
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: The above terms and conditions of the sale shall
constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both.

which is not covered by the terms and
conditons available.

sickness not apparent at sale time.

Landmark was purchased from the A Sparrow Farms Bull Sale in the spring of
2010. When we bought Landmark, we were looking to add some outcross genetics.
Landmark also has and throws a tremendous curly hair coat. He has excellent feet, a
great disposition, and possesses tremendous length, along with thickness and depth.
Landmark’s calves are outstanding! They are born very easily and are extremely active
at birth.
As an added bonus his first daughters are milking very well and are going to make great
cows!
Roundup has added a unique new dimension to the Horseshoe E bull battery. This
calving ease sire also adds tremendous performance. Roundup adds a curly hair coat,
throws awesome feet and legs, and is homozygous polled! The Roundup sons are the
true cowboy kind. Check them out sale day!

Eldorado throws a thick hair coat and always leaves cattle with an excellent disposition.

Saginaw, an outcross sire, is a homozygous polled bull with a great curly hair coat. He
