Course description: A flat, links-type course with views of mountains to the east and west and the Great Salt Lake to the north. With
no trees on the layout, bunkers and lakes are the main hazards.
Various native grasses offer a nice touch. Course developer Drew
Hall insisted on no split-level or "buried elephant" type greens, so
putting isn't a big problem for lesser golfers. In its first full year of
operation, the course is still a little rough around the edges, but has
potential to be an excellent course.
Holes to remember: The par-4 No. 9 is a dogleg right to a green
framed by two bunkers and is the only par-4 more than 400 yards
from the middle tees. The Great Salt Lake provides a nice
background. The par-4 16th is
Difficulty:
an almost 90-degree dogleg left
Layout:
around a lake. A good drive
makes the hole easier, but any

Course description: Only in its second year, Glenwild is in
superb shape. The course rests amid rolling hills of sagebru
where sheep once grazed. More than 9,000 trees, mostly
Colorado spruces, have been planted. The course is long, u
7,523 yards from the back tees and a challenging 6,670 f
the middle tees. The majority of the holes require a carry of
least 100 yards to reach the fairways. The back nine is mo
interesting with three lakes that come into play along with s
breathtaking views of the mountains of Park City.
Holes to remember: There are really no signature holes, b
most are solid golf holes. The par-3 11th features an eleva
tee and a fairly shallow undulating green surrounded by th
bunkers. On the left side just in front of the green is a rock
No. 18 is a great finishing hole. It's long, more like a par-5
the back tees at 498 and a real challenge from
middle tees at 456. A lake hugs the left side of t
fairway all the way to the green and a slight dogl
requires an approach shot over water to the gree
the kind of hole you may be glad to get your bog
and get out of there.
