Dolphin watching &
Jeep tour of Sado or Arrábida
Meet the Dolphins and Discover the secrets of the
Sado estuary or the Serra d’Arrábida.
Arrábida Jeep Tour
Travel over the mountains of the Arrábida Natural Park and enjoy the excellent views of the estuary and
Troia Peninsula, stopping briefly at the Convento da Arrábida before continuing towards Azeitão along
the Picheleiros Valley country roads of the. Visit the wine cellars of José Maria da Fonseca where you
can sample the delightful local wines and famous Moscatel. Discover also the typical Azuleijo at a
nearby workshop that still uses traditional XVII Century methods to hand manufacture these famous
Portuguese tiles, or enjoy a visit to the Castle of Sesimbra and of the Shrine at Cape Espichel.
Sado Jeep Tour
Travel through the rice paddies of Comporta, to the fishing harbour of “Palafita at Carrasqueira. At
Herdade da Comporta the cellars are open for wine tasting. As we travel through Monte-Novo and
Montevil birdlife is abundant. Don’t miss the opportunity to watch this sanctuary for diverse species,
such as; storks, egrets and the flamingos in the winter. Visit the castle of Alcácer do Sal before
returning to Setúbal or Troia.

The Boats
Esperança
Esperança is a catamaran 75’ - 22.80m - built by Fountaine Pajot. It has two 135hp Nanni diesel
motors and can do 9 knots cruise velocity. On board facilities include bar service, toilets, showers,
music, the “Be & Jazz Lounge” and a net over the sea to enjoy the sound of the ocean and well
deserved rest.
This ship is ideal for parties and group events.
Capacity: 80 pax.
Hei Matau
Hei Matau is a 8.5m semi-rigid boat built by Joker, Italy. It has a 250hp Yamaha motor and a cruise
velocity of 27 knots. This boat is ideal for filming, photography and any professional investigative
work.
Capacity: 12 pax.

Booking and Payment
Terms & Conditions of
booking and payment
Reservations can be made by e-mail or by phone.
Reservations are confirmed on acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Payment of 50% of the total charge is required on reservation, the total charge must be fully paid
before boarding/tour. Each reservation requires acceptance by the customer of our conditions
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Cancellation Policy:
Vertigem Azul reserves the right to cancel any tour should it be deemed necessary for security reasons
and or due to weather conditions. The client will be fully refunded, with no possibility of indemnity.
Whenever possible Vertigem Azul will always propose a viable alternate solution.
In case of cancelation on the clients behalf; 10 days prior to the boarding/tour date the total value paid
will be fully refunded; less than 10 days pior to boarding/tour date, the total value paid will be
retained in full by Vertigem Azul.
All clients must respect the security regulations on board.

Route A2 Lisbon - Setúbal:
Get off the Lisbon-Algarve highway at Setúbal go
straight ahead (passing hypermarket “Jumbo” on
your right)
Follow the road signs indicating “Porto de
Setúbal” and/or “Ferry-boats”, always in direction
of the river.
You will drive through two roundabouts, and then
the road will begin to slope down sharply.
Proceed until you can see the river in front of you.
On reaching the river turn right into town.
You will pass over a flyover that feeds into the
beginning of Av. Luisa Todi, from where the
“ferry-boat” area can be seen.
Turn left and the first roundabout, toward the
ferry-boat pier.
The Port of Setubal should be directly in front of
you. Turn right and drive parallel to the river until
you come to the fish market (yellow building with
clock tower)
Park here, we are across the road on the ground
floor of the Marina Deck building.
