The requirement of Internet Connectivity has increased in Government
departments a<;:ross the State as many Government
central web-based applications
or Internet website
accessed by their district and field level offices.

In light of the .above fact, State Government has decided that BSNL's
Broadband Connection Facility may be availed by the departments in all
government offices where no alternate connectivity exists.
This is subject to the following conditions:
1. One Broadband
Internet connection
per office may be taken.
Initially the 256 KBPS Bandwidth Plan of BSNL of minimum tariff
(presently Rs. 700/- per month) can be taken. BSNL has waived off
Installation Charges and Security Deposit (letter enclosed)
2. For higher bandwidth
vetted from DoIT&C.

3. No additional budget provisions will be made available for the

The expenditure.
on the usage of
Broadband Internet Service should be met by the Departments
from the budget ayailable for 'Office Expense (OE)'.
4. When the connectivity in the .Department / Office is made available
under SecLAN / RSWAN project, the BSNL Internet Broadband
Connectivity would have to terminated. It would be the personal
responsibility of the concerned Head of the Department and official
in the Administrative Department to ensure the same.
5. The facility may be availed by the field offices only after specific
approval'::ofthe concerned Head. of the Department.
