What to think about when installing
Floortiles!
Installation of Burapha’s floor tiles is extremely simple; anyone can transform a
dull veranda or other outdoor area in a matter of minutes. No special tools, glue
or experience needed!
We do however want to give you a small piece of advise, in order to reassure the
quality of the floor tiles:
• When installing our floor tiles, be sure to install them a a solid and rather
level area, with a well drained surface. The most ideal surfaces are the
ones that are either paved or concreted, where water can run off easily. If the tiles are submerged, or in constant contact with water for a sustained time, the risk for cracking, warping and bending is greatly increased.
• All wood includes tannin, which may bleed especially if the wood is in constant contact to water. Eucalyptus in particular, contains high levels of tannin,
whereby it is strongly suggested that Eucalyptus tiles never are installed on
a surface that you want to retain clean or undamaged by tannin bleed marks.
These words of advise are not to discourage you from installing the tiles outdoors
whatsoever - the structural qualities of product will not be affected by normal outdoor conditions, as long as the drainage is sufficient!
