OPEN HOUSE DATES
• Payments are due 30 days prior to the start of
the camp week.
• Automatic Drafting Dates:
Camp Weeks 1-4 due on or before May 1.
Camp Weeks 5-8 due on or before June 1.
Camp Weeks 9-10 due on or before July 1.
• A $20 late fee will be assessed on all late
payments per week.
• There are no credits or refunds for absences.

EDISON YMCA
• All campers are required to be current
members of the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison,
Woodbridge and South Amboy or will be required
to pay a camp registration fee of $50 due upon
registration.
• Upon registering for camp you will receive
a medical form that must be completed and
returned to the Y by the Friday prior to the week
of camp the child is attending.
• A $50 non-refundable deposit is due for each
week upon registration.
• Any changes to existing registrations will incur
a $10 fee per child per week after May 2, 2016.

• An early bird discount will be applied for
registrations through May 2, 2016.
• A 10% discount is applicable for additional
siblings enrolled simultaneously in full-time
camp or a YMCA childcare program.

TRADITIONAL CAMP
Week 1-10 (June 27 - September 2)
Entering Grades 1-8
This is our most popular program! Campers participate in a variety of activities each day. Free instructional swim is
provided in the morning for all campers and all swimming levels. Recreational swim in the afternoons and a weekly day
trip option are a vital part of the traditional camp week as well. Campers are divided into grade level groups, though
they often join with other grades for larger camp games and activities.
HALF PINT CAMP
Week 1-10 (June 27 - September 2)
Entering Grades Pre K-K
Big fun for our littlest campers! Children will be introduced to themed weeks with a variety of activities that include
instructional and free swim, inclusive games, art, and much more! Children will create special bonds with staff and
fellow campers that will last a lifetime. Full or half day camp options are available.

SPECIALTY SPORTS CAMP
Week 2-7 (July 5 - August 12)
Entering Grades 1-8
Campers will work with a skilled instructor to advance their skills in a specific
sport. These specialty camps will take place from 9AM-12PM and can be taken
as part of the traditional camp day or on their own. See specialty sport schedule
to the right for exact dates.

TWO LOCATIONS TO CHOOSE FROM!
Camp Oakcrest & Oak Tree provide
campers with a unique opportunity to connect
with peers and the community. Camp Oakcrest
is outdoors at the Oakcrest Family Swim Club,
while Camp Oak Tree is at the Edison YMCA. We
offer campers a broad range of age appropriate
activities including recreational swimming,
swim lessons, arts and crafts, themed activity
weeks, summer reading, and much more. In
addition, our weekly educational field trips will
stimulate their imaginations and creativity.
COUNSELORS IN TRAINING (CIT)
Week 1-10 (June 27 - September 2)
Entering Grades 9-10
This is a great opportunity for older campers to learn the skills needed to
become a counselor. CIT’s are mentored by experienced camp staff and work
with younger children daily. They learn how to supervise campers while
encouraging participation and building self esteem.

Oak Tree Junior Enrichment Camp is a primarily indoor education-based program designed to help prepare children
for kindergarten or first grade. Led by our state certified teacher along with our highly trained staff, children will
participate in educational enrichment activities as well as great summertime crafts and games. Outdoor swim will be
held at the Oakcrest Family Swim Club. Our Junior Enrichment Camp is a great head start for the 2016 school year and
an excellent foundation if you plan on enrolling your child in our popular Kindergarten Extended Day Program!

Fees apply to those with current YMCA family or program memberships. Non-members must pay a camp registration fee to participate in camp.
Week 2 will be a shortened week due to 4th of July Holiday. Prices will be prorated.
