There we turn inland in the direction of Þórsmörk and head all the way up to Gígjökull, an outlet glacier that falls from the Eyjafjallajökull crater. Here we see the impact of the 2010 eruption. Continuing east we reach Sólheimajökull glacier where we go for a Blue Ice Glacier Walk. On the glacier, you will discover all kinds of ice formations and the different colors of the glacier ice.
