If you are planning a trip to North
Cyprus this winter, it is advisable to
consider renting a car for at least
part or all of your stay.
The public transport system in North
Cyprus is very erratic and does not
cover some of the major touristic sights. Taxis, whilst readily available
from most hotels, are approximately the same cost as in the UK and
the last train left Nicosia Central station back in 1922! It would be a
shame to travel to this unspoilt corner of the Mediterranean and not
see exactly what makes North Cyprus so very special.
Motoring here is both simple and safe. The light traffic volume and
quality of the main roads makes hiring a car an enjoyable and
rewarding experience. The rules of the road are the same as the UK;
all the road signs are in English and you drive on left.

the Ford Fiesta 5 door hatchback (or equivalent), at a daily rate of just
£14.00 (excluding CDW). This popular and spacious vehicle, has a
very high standard specification, including air-conditioning, power
steering, electric windows, central locking and stereo radio/cassette.
Normally priced at £22.00 per day, the reduced rate includes delivery
to your hotel as well as unlimited mileage.
This offer is subject to the following conditions: Minimum booking
period must be 3 days. Collision Damage Waiver of £3.00 per day is
payable in resort. Drivers must be over 25 years of age.
Please note that an additional charge may be levied where a vehicle
is supplied with a full tank of petrol.
Rental price includes: Delivery to and collection from your hotel,
Unlimited mileage, Comprehensive insurance and all local taxes.
Rental price excludes: Petrol, CDW at £3.00 per day, flat tyres and
