Who We Are
A Look at the Creative Team
Lock and Keynote is a production company based in
Sarah Williamson (Choreographer) is originally from Sudbury and
is a recent honours graduate of Ryerson Universityʼs dance
program. She works as a performer and educator of dance in the
city of Toronto.
Toronto, Ontario. Our goal is to encourage and facilitate the
artistic growth of young people in Northeastern Ontario. We
provide an introduction to musical theatre in singing,
dancing, acting and design, allowing kids to individually and
artistically flourish in any of these areas.
By promoting personal growth and self-expression within a
group environment, each production encourages the
creativity, confidence and teamwork that are invaluable to
social and professional development.
Summer 2012 is our seventh year running summer camps,
with previous years in Cochrane, Timmins and Sudbury,
Ontario and Corner Brook, Newfoundland. As usual, we
have a brand new script and fantastic Broadway songs to
perform! We look forward to bringing our expertise and
passion of theatre to the youth of Kirkland Lake!
Shari Porter (Musical Director) is a Queenʼs University graduate
and works as a teacher / musical director in the Toronto area. She
specializes in teaching music to children. She is a founding
member of Lock and Keynote Productions.
Kara Wilkinson (Director) is a Queenʼs University and Second City
conservatory program graduate. She is an experienced singer,
dancer, and actor in Toronto and made her Lock and Keynote
debut in Corner Brookʼs production of “...Spelling Bee”.
Vikki VanSickle (Playwright) has her Masters in Childrenʼs
Literature from the University of British Columbia. Her first novel,
Words That Start with B, was recently published by Scholastic.
