Army ROTC is a leadership program where you will be able to take 24 elective credits that will coincide
with your four-year college degree program, resulting in your commission as an Army Officer (Second
Lieutenant) upon graduation. Officers can serve in one of 16 career fields. ROTC gives you the tools, training
and experiences that you will need to succeed in any competitive environment. Your studies would include:
Leadership Development, Military Skills and Adventure Training. Along with great leadership training, Army
ROTC can pay for your college tuition. Because Army ROTC is an elective, you can participate in your freshman
and sophomore years without any obligation to join the Army. Visit www.cuny.edu/rotc to learn more.
Additional Housing
All CUNY colleges are members of CUNYAC, The City
University of New York Athletic Conference. Citywide

contested and followed closely by CUNY students and the
New York City press. CUNY Athletics offers seven intramural
championships in the academic year including: handball,
table tennis, chess, 5K health run, coed volleyball, coed
basketball and coed soccer.

• BS-MD Program: This innovative seven-year program integrates undergraduate education with the
first two years of medical school.
• Physician Assistant (PA) Program: This 28-month upper division program leads to a B.S. degree and
certification as a Physician Assistant.

If you think you will need assistance to pay for
educational expenses, we recommend that you apply for
financial aid. While you and your family have the primary
responsibility of paying for your education, funding is
available from the federal, state and city government
and from CUNY to help you pay college expenses. These
expenses include tuition and fees, room and board, books
and supplies and transportation.

When you look at the quality and cost of a CUNY education, you see right away that
it is a tremendous value. But still, the cost of a college education is a significant
investment and one to be carefully considered.
