The pupae of the specimens r ecorded above were found by
Dr. A. Kerr in the fruit of Di.ospy1·os sp.
Riley (in litt. , 21. 1. 3~) . r emarking on the unexpected occurr ence of isocrcdes in Siam, assumed that it could only have been
imported somehow with plants. Dr. Ken , hmve\·er, Rays that he found
Diospyros sp. growing wild near Tung Luang and other remote
