Dismantling & Removal
All lots are sold ‘as is where is’ with the purchaser responsible for dismantling and removal. The seller will be
responsible for disconnection from all mains services. Approved Dismantling Contractor CI EMME.A Srl will be
available on site to provide estimates of dismantling and packing any of the lots

Introduction
Our client Reno Industria srl, a leading local construction business, purchased the assets of
ILA Aluminium from the Trustee in Bankruptcy with the intention of restarting the Aluminium Plant at
Portovesme, south west Sardinia, producing aluminium strip, sheet and foil from continuously cast
aluminium coil. The key to the project was low cost clean energy from a proposed wind farm.
Unfortunately planning consent was not forthcoming and after exhausting the appeal process Reno have now
abandoned the project and instructed CJM Asset Management to sell all the manufacturing assets by online
auction unless sold previously by private treaty.
The equipment has not been put into production for about 3 years but has been looked after and maintained by
Reno Industria and offers an excellent opportunity to those seeking to bid for and buy good quality mills and processing equipment at very competitive prices.

Thursday 16th September. All goods are sold ‘as is where is’ and the successful bidder in each case will pay a
Buyers Premium of 12.5% over and above the Hammer Price.
