CONCLUSION 58 Brighton 3Ts: CONSULTATION STATEMENT Conclusion 7.1 Community Involvement is integral to best practice planning and design and helps to create developments that fully reflect communities’ aspirations and are positively embraced following their delivery. 7.2 This report presents the methods that have been used during the pre-application stage up to the formal submission of the planning application for the 3Ts proposal. It also details the measures taken to address comments and opinions expressed by statutory consultees, key stakeholders, local residents and the wider community. 7.3 Where possible the design team has worked hard to accommodate feedback from all stakeholders as far as is practical. 7.4 The views, opinions and information collected from consultation have informed the final design to meet the community’s aspiration for a high quality, exemplar development. 7.5 BSUH has responded positively to feedback received from local residents about the approved application. Many of the changes to the scheme have been made specifically to accommodate the views of local residents. 7.6 In the future BSUH plans to continue this legacy of community consultation and will work closely with local residents through the construction process to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner. the October Jubilee Library consultation event Brighton 3Ts: CONSULTATION STATEMENT 59 APPENDICES A 62 Brighton 3Ts: CONSULTATION STATEMENT Appendices Appendix A.1 – list of stakeholders consulted Appendix A.2 – approximate area for distribution of HLG invitation letters Appendix A.3 – stage one exhibition panels Appendix A.4 -
