The fundamental principles of Jesuit pedagogy are as vital today
as they were when St. Ignatius opened the first Jesuit school
over 450 years ago - a liberal arts foundation that broadens
the mind, working in concert with a focused attention on the
personal development of each student. Bringing together
the core of the tradition with career preparedness and civic
engagement is how Fairfield prepares the students of today. Rev.
Jeffrey P. von Arx, S.J., President, will be joined by Vice President
for Student Affairs, Dr. Thomas C. Pellegrino, and Melissa Quan,
Associate Director of the Center for Faith and Public Life and
Director of the Office of Service Learning.

9 p.m. The Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) came to New York from
Chicago in 1996; staging their award-winning sketch comedy
show and introducing the long form improvised structure of
the “Harold” to New York audiences. The Upright Citizens
Brigade Theatre is dedicated to fostering both an appreciation
and education of the arts through affordable and high quality
comedic performances.
Tonight’s performance will be opened by Fairfield’s own comedy
troupe Your Mom Does Improv (YMDI). This event is open to all
students, families, and alumni!

The $25 registration fee per participant is a
special combined package that allows you one
meal ticket and one drink ticket for the Taste of
Connecticut, admission to all athletic events,
admission into the evening entertainment,
Sunday brunch, a ticket to the Glee Club Concert,
and an Alumni & Family Weekend gift package
for the first 100 pre-registered families. All other
events are free and open to alumni, parents,
students, and families. Additional meal and
drink tickets for the Taste of Connecticut will be
available for purchase at the event.
When registering, you do not need to pay for
tickets for your Fairfield student(s) as all events are free for students except for the
Taste of Connecticut. You will need to purchase additional tickets for that. **For Upright Citizens Brigade and the Glee Club Concert, you will be given a
voucher that can be exchanged for a ticket at the box office prior to the show.
