Cross-border real-time
 Real-time information important in cross-border route planning
 EU-Spirit technically supports transfer of real-time information
 Mostly used in directly neighboring regions
- The nearest border is the most important border
- e.g. Rostock – Denmark, Denmark-Sweden (Öresund) etc.
- Usage will be intensified and supported by further partners
 However, the longer the journey gets the less real-time
information is available – due to the longer travel time
- We do not know if the bus from the airport will be on-time after
your plane has landed after a 3 hours flight
- But we might know that tomorrow due to unplanned construction
work there will be some disturbances on a regional train line
