Your compl ete guide to festive events in the Stirlin g area OFFERS INSIDE FROM AMF Bowling, Brucefields, Lumia Spa, Nature’s Corner, Sonas, Stirling Libraries, The Tea Room welcome When I looked through what’s in this Guide I noted the events I don’t want to miss – and I don’t see how I can fit them all in! The macrobert pantomime sounds like a load of fun and there’s definitely more than a few events at the Albert Halls and Tolbooth that I’ve already got earmarked. The Christmas lights switch on is a family event I don’t like to miss – always tied in with some shopping and a festive meal in the city centre. And up at the Castle there is always lots to see and do. FESTIVE DIARY PAGE 2 SHOPPING PAGES 3 - 11 I’m sure you’ll find events that you won’t want to miss too. Hogmanay celebrations on the Castle Esplanade? Shopping at the Farmers’ Market? Taking the children to see Santa? There truly is something for everyone. And for your Christmas shopping or seasonal celebrations, this Guide is packed full of excellent suggestions. So enjoy your Christmas in Stirling. I know I’m going to enjoy mine! A sincere thank you to everyone who has contributed to and supported this Guide. We rely on you for its continuing success. Membership is free and by joining, you will be joining a business group committed to making the local economy stronger, more resilient and prosperous. The Panel supports local businesses by working with Stirling Council and other partners in planning and preparing for a growing local economy. As part of that process, we have carried out an Annual Business Survey for the past three years. The views and opinions expressed by our members in the Annual Business Survey had a direct influence on Council policy in a number of key areas, like business support, planning, parking, skills and training. By adding your voice to the Panel membership, you can help to ensure that the Business Panel can continue to identify and help address key areas of concern to local business. The Business Panel also hosts business events, including an Annual Trade Fair, which provide clear networking opportunities for local businesses. The Business Panel lobbies on behalf of its membership and aims to make the Stirling area an even better place to live and in which to do business.
