Skil-Care Corporation is a domestic manufacturer and has been developing and designing products for the long-term care industry
for over 30 years. The company has a strong design team and works very closely with healthcare professionals to determine which products
would be most beneficial to the caregiver and resident. All the products go through a careful review process and are screened by caregivers
and tested in the long-term care setting. As of this date 135 original successful designs or products were presented to the industry and these
products are highlighted in the catalog/website with the following symbol
Over the years, many of these products have been improved
based on extensive feedback from the care-givers. It is a natural process for successful products to be copied by other suppliers but in most
cases these companies aren’t aware of the product rationale and design details, and leave one or more features out of the copied product.
Sometimes a copied product can be purchased for less but in most cases it costs more in the product life since it is inferior in durability,
launderability and effectiveness. Also it isn’t serviced by the extensive Skil-Care network.
As a manufacturer, Skil-Care does not sell direct and the company offers products through a network of over 400 dealers. Although
product selection is often confusing and difficult, with the Skil-Care and dealer representatives any facility can receive assistance. Simply call
