Morocco’s biggest city is the perfect place to
start your journey. You will be greeted by your
tour leader and transferred to your hotel.
Sample your first mint tea of the trip and
perhaps enjoy a hamam at the hotel before a
group dinner at Rick’s Café.

Day 2 Casablanca ~ Fes
Gaze up at Morocco’s largest mosque, the
Hassan II Mosque, and explore Casablanca.
Depart for Fes, stopping at Meknes along the
way to wander the markets and sample olives,
wine and mint tea. In the afternoon, check into
our beautiful riad in the heart of the Old City.

Day 3 Fes
Today, enjoy a rare opportunity to explore
the back alleys and hidden gems of medieval
Fes with a local female guide. Embrace this
vibrant, noisy and fascinating city on a private
tour of the spectacular leather tanneries and
Royal Palace, before stopping for lunch at the
medina. Afterwards, enjoy traditional tea with
a local merchant and learn the history of Fes’
unique marketplaces.

Tour the medina with a local chef, gathering
ingredients for a cooking class. After learning
the secrets of fine Moroccan cuisine, dine on
the fruits of your labour.

Day 5 Fes ~ Marrakech
Drive to Marrakech and check into your
refurbished 19th century hotel, La Sultana
Marrakech. Enjoy a tea on the rooftop
terrace and bask in the magical views of the
Royal Palace, Koutoubia Mosque and Atlas
Mountains. Afterwards, indulge in a refreshing
and rejuvenating traditional hamam.
Spend your evening wandering past the healers,
snake charmers, astrologers and acrobats of
Djemaa el Fna. Perhaps even brave the delicious
street food and sample steaming snails.

Day 6 Marrakech
Immerse yourself in Marrakech with a
guided tour of the lesser-known lanes of the
labyrinthine souq, followed by visits to the
opulent Bahia Palace and the Maison de la

in Morocco between 1870 and 1950. The
afternoon is yours to enjoy. Perhaps continue
your downtown meandering or just relax
by the pool. Tonight we dine at Al Fassia, a
restaurant run entirely by women and a local
favourite.

Day 7 Marrakech
This morning enjoy a caleche (horse-drawn
carriage) ride to discover the city's renowned
gardens. Finish the tour at the magnificent
Majorelle, a psychadelic desert mirage of
inumerable plant species gifted to the city by
Yves Saint Laurent. Dinner tonight is at Le
Foundouk.

Day 8 Marrakech ~ Ourika Valley
Depart for Ourika Valley, the gateway to the
Atlas Mountains and your home for the next
two nights. The day is free to make your own
discoveries. Visit nearby waterfalls or simply
unwind by the swimming pool and enjoy
your surroundings.

Day 9 Ourika Valley
Hunt for souvenirs at the Monday Berber
Market in Tnine Ourika. See local farmers
selling their goods and sample the teas and
pastries on offer. Return to our Kasbah midmorning and set off on an afternoon trek
Kasbah Bab Ourika, Ourika Valley
with a local mountain guide. Pass through
Berber villages and olive groves and take in the
panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and
Ourika Valley. Stop for a delicious picnic lunch
followed by tea with a local Berber family. This
evening, enjoy a spectacular sunset and dinner
under the stars in the gardens of our kasbah.

Your tour ends after breakfast this morning
with a transfer to the airport for your
