Goodbye limits.
Get off the tarmac and onto the fun stuff.
Whether tearing up gravel tracks or fording
streams, the G650 Xchallenge’s 53 hp
(39 kW) and 60 Nm of torque are equal
to anything you can throw at it. So next
time nature calls, you know what your
answer will be.
06 - 07
Follow your heart,
not the road.
The new G 650 Xchallenge – designed
for extreme enduro fans who know exactly
what they want out of life. It may have an
exceptionally lightweight design, but this
motorcycle still packs plenty of punch.
And BMW Motorrad’s unique Air Damping
System ensures outstanding traction and
handling.

Worth capturing on film –
if you’re quick enough.
All eyes are on you as you race away from
the lights. Not for long though – you’ve
soon disappeared into the distance. But
the rider who’s got it all can afford to be
generous, so why not cruise round the
block again, and give them another look
at what they’re missing?
14 - 15
Always one step
ahead.
The G 650 Xcountry is an all-purpose,
go-anywhere bike for the 21st century.
Compact, lightweight and responsive,
it’s a star performer on any kind of road,
while the optional BMW Motorrad ABS
ensures it’s just as impressive stopping
as starting.

Drifting to die for.
Touch the brakes, lean in and give it
some gas, as you effortlessly drift from
one bend into the next. 17-inch tyres
offer the perfect balance of grip and
slide, and sheer adrenalin takes care
of the rest.

No more Mr Nice Guy.
The new G 650 Xmoto is a cornering
machine. Equally at home on narrow
city streets as it is on twisting mountain
passes, this supermoto knows exactly
what it wants, and won’t stop until it
gets it.

Putting the brakes on. The G 650 X range’s BMW Motorrad ABS.
Weighing a mere 1.5 kg, the latest generation of BMW Motorrad ABS offers the ultimate in safety for all three models. The 2-channel
system provides exceptional braking performance while being very compact in size, and incorporates wheel sensors which automatically
monitor the distance between the sensor and sensor wheel. The system can of course be disconnected for off-road use, when fitted to
any of the models.
It’s all about the

Accessories.
1
The off-road headlight protector for the
Xchallenge prevents damage to the light and
can be removed quickly and easily thanks to
the snaplock system. Not for use on-road.
3
Light and robust, the aluminium chain guard
can be fitted as an alternative to the standard
plastic chain guard. It looks great, and offers
effective protection when riding off-road.
5
The aluminium frame protector and sprocket
cover are ideally suited to the G 650 X models, in
terms of both form and function, and protect the
brake cylinder from damage.
22
11
The large aluminium bash plate prevents
damage to G 650 X models’ engines in off-road
riding. It is fitted as standard to the Xchallenge.
17
The sturdy rear bag is made of easy-care
material and is fitted to the luggage grid. It offers
five litres of storage space. It provides protection
against dirt and water, and items inside can be
secured in place.
18
The Akrapoviĕ® slip-on sport silencer is made of titanium and gives the G 650 X models a real sportsbike appearance. What’s more, it sounds fantastic
and reduces overall weight considerably, especially when used in conjunction with the exhaust manifold (available separately).
30 - 31
The main compartment of the waterproof tank
rucksack for the G 650 Xcountry has a capacity
of 13 litres (plus five litres of additional storage
space) and features a large, waterproof map
pocket.
14
16
The crash pads for the G 650 Xmoto are
attached to the axles and footrests, protecting
the swinging arm and fork in the event of an
accident.
Accessories
The elegant luggage grid is made of steel
tubing and features an aluminium plate. It can
be fitted to the rear of the Xchallenge, Xmoto
and Xcountry.
