Tour 2: Walking tour of Carlsberg brewery district

Tour description: In 2009, the gates to a new city district in Copenhagen were opened, when Carlsberg
moved its production out of Copenhagen and only left the small craft brewery Jacobsen to still brew on the
premises. Over the next 20 years, the new Carlsberg District will transform into the most pulsating area in
Copenhagen. Join us for a guided tour of this hip and upcoming area of the city. The tour takes you through
the breweries Old Carlsberg and New Carlsberg, the architectural plans for the new area, and the unique
and protected buildings – the Lotus Chimney, the Lighthouse, the Star Gate, the elephant gate and the

Tour 3: Walking tour of Eurovision Island (Refshaleøen)

Tour description: Join us for a guided tour of the unexplored, historic and industrial area of Eurovision
Island - locally known as Refshaleøen – this year’s venue for the Eurovision Song Contest. Refshaleøen is
roughly 500,000 square metres of artificial land, until 1996 home of the shipyard B&W, Burmeister & Wain.
A peninsula in the Copenhagen harbour that still carries the traces of 150 years of legendary industrial
history. Today, the island is sprawling with an uneven hoard of settlers; artists, creative entrepreneurs,
chefs, musicians, antiques dealers, etc. We will visit some of the old and new places, find traces of the past
and get a sense of the atmosphere. The tour is conducted by artist Annette Skov and former shipbuilder Kim
Bargsteen.

Tour description: Copenhagen is the gastro capital of Scandinavia, but it is not all about expensive Michelin
restaurants. Join us on a gastronomic walk through Copenhagen. On the way we will tell you about Danish
food culture, eating habits and gastro trends in Copenhagen, and invite you to taste a range of local
products from beer to chocolate, from old school to innovative. On the tour you will visit Copenhagen’s
oldest liquor store, chocolate parlour Summerbird, a local candy factory and food market Torvehallerne.

Tour 5: City bike tour of Copenhagen

Tour description: Join us on an extraordinary bicycle adventure that will take you from city highlights to city
secrets, combining some of Copenhagen’s biggest sights with the vibrant residential neighbourhoods of
Nørrebro and Vesterbro. From the city hall we will explore the diversity of the city starting out with the
modern architectural highlights of the harbour front like The Harbour Bath, Kalvebod Bølge, The Opera and
The Black Diamond. Afterwards we bike our way through the colourful everyday life of multicultural
Nørrebro and creative Vesterbro including The Meatpacking District and red light district. We end up
visiting the Queen’s palace Amalienborg and Nyhavn picturesque harbour. The tour is conducted by

Tour 7: Half-day trip to Roskilde: Unleash your inner Viking!

Tour description: On this trip to Denmark’s first capital, Roskilde, you will experience both a UNESCO World
Heritage site as well as genuine Viking life. We start the tour with a visit to Roskilde Cathedral, which has
been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1995 - a list which also includes world famous monuments
like the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids. The cathedral contains no less than 39 royal graves making it
an absolute must-see when visiting Denmark. Next we head for the Viking Ship Museum, where we start off
with a delicious Viking lunch. Afterwards we go on board one of the museum’s reconstructed Viking ships.
We row the boat out of the harbour, and you help raise the sail. This is as close as you get to a true “Viking
feeling”, so roll up your sleeves and get ready to unleash your inner Viking. The tour is by coach and is
