DAY 01: ARRIVAL - SAN JOSE
Arrival to Costa Rica - Meet & Greet at the airport & Private transfer to Grano de Oro Hotel.

volcano. The hike begins in one the trails close to the
volcano, this trail will take us through the forest over lava
flows and a destroyed area by 1968 now in the process

pools at the Tabacon Hot Springs, where you can enjoy

DAY 03: ARENAL
Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge by Boat - Full Day Tour
The wildlife reserve Caño Negro is one of the
most important reserves for incredible bird
watching and observation of wildlife in Costa
Rica. Caño Negro is also home for many sloths,
monkeys, caimans, bats as well as numerous
tropical plants.
After a welcome drink and a snack, we slowly
and silently cruise to this exceptional national
refuge in our comfortable boat where you can
enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna.
Upon return you will be served a typical, delicious lunch in the restaurant “El Caiman” which

DAY 04: ARENAL
Peñas Blancas Safari Float & Don Pedro’s Farm - 5 Hours Tour

naturalist guide. An expert in Safari adventures, he will

monkeys, toucans, crocodiles, Jesus Christ Lizards
and turtles might cross your way, including seeing the
colorful world of tropical birds. At Don Pedro’s Farm
you have an additional tour on a trailer pulled by a

DAY 08: MANUEL ANTONIO
Savegre Whitewater Rafting Tour (Class II-III) - Full Day Tour
Our more family-friendly Savegre River provides
Class II, III and some rare IV rapids that are more
than
manageable
in
sturdy
rafts
that
accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably. Our
guides stop at locally known swimming spots and
breathtaking waterfalls, if the rafters want a break
from paddling, and there is always time to enjoy
the abundant variety of wildlife along the river.
On most trips, rafters will observe egrets, osprey,
toucans, parrots, kingfishers, cormorants, and many other species local to this protected
area of the tropical rain forest. After a steady 13 mile trip down the river, we wind our way
back to the little village of “Silencio” where a gladly awaited hot lunch “Tico Style” and local
refreshments are waiting.

DAY 09: MANUEL ANTONIO - TAMARINDO

DAY 10: TAMARINDO
One Day Adventure Combo Guachipelín - Full Day Tour
Canopy tour, Rock climbing, Tarzan swing, via ferrata,
hanging br idges, that’s just the first activity that will be
done in the morning , then a delicious lunch to get our
energy back for the next activity - horseback riding
through the dry forest and beautiful pasture land.
For the last part of the day, what can be better that
relaxing in hot water pools, water that comes directly
from the volcano Rincon de la Vieja, also cover your
body with volcanic mud which is extremely therapeutic,
the volcano that is being the most important part of the
beautiful panoramic views that you will be seeing during
the all day.

DAY 11: TAMARINDO
Congo Trail Canopy Tour - 5 Hours Tour
After one hour driving approximately, we arrive at
the site, where a tropical – dry forest and its high
trees are surrounded the area. Once we get there
the tour guides will get you ready for the ride of
your life. After a short hike we will come to the first
platform, ready for instructions to start flying down
the suspended cables.
During the tour we will come across a walk bridge
between two platforms, this is a truly exhilarating
and exciting experience. If we are lucky even the Howler Monkeys will be our company
during a part of the canopy.
*Restrictions: People over 100 kilograms weight (217 pounds) must be evaluated by our
technical staff (according to his/her height and physical condition) our staff will determine if
they can take the tour.

DAY 12: TAMARINDO
Tamarindo Mangrove & Estuary Tour on Kayaks - 3 Hours Tour
Either single or double sit on top ocean kayaks will introduce us in to this nature lover’s
paradise; great quantity of fauna species and a very especial flora characteristic of this
ecosystem, the mangrove. Using paddles, not motors, will give us the chance to observe
the animals but not disturbing them, allowing us to have better pictures or if we have no
camera to obtain better memories.
After paddling for one hour, some fresh fruits will give us energy and hydration to continue
enjoying this beautiful natural environment that is now considered as an international
importance wet land (Ramsar site) in action.
