MILWAUKEE TROLLEY LOOP “HOP ‘N SHOP, WINE ‘N DINE” A connection
to attractions and summer activities throughout Westown, East Town and the
Historic Third Ward, the Milwaukee Trolley Loop links riders to the Milwaukee Public
Market, Frontier Airlines Center, Milwaukee Public Museum, Jazz in the Park,
River Rhythms, farm markets, Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World, Betty
Brinn Children’s Museum and theater and hotel districts. Other highlights include
the connectivity to street-level retail, restaurants, spas and salons. Two trolleys will
service the route to offer 20-minute headways at designated stops. One complete

SUMMERFEST Summerfest will take place June 29-July 3. Closed July 4. The
world’s largest music festival and Milwaukee’s cornerstone summer celebration

FIREWORKS KITE FESTIVAL Boom, Boom.. KSWI in Conjuction with Gift of
Wings, U.S. Bank and Milwaukee County Parks will sponsor our annual Fireworks
Kite Festival. Featuring the giant kites of Yves LaForest. This is a fun fly and all are
welcome to participate. Our goal is to fill the sky with as many kites as possible.
Times from 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m., then 7:30 p.m. until the fireworks start at 9:25 p.m.
Fly a kite and get the best seats in the house for the greatest firworks show on

4TH OF JULY PARADE AND HOMETOWN CELEBRATIONS Cedarburg’s
community parade starts at Firemen’s Park at 10 a.m. and will make its way
south. Day-long activities and entertainment in Cedar Creek Park after the parade
will culminate with a performance by the Cedarburg Civic Band and a fantastic

WAUWATOSA’S INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE begins at 9 am. and runs along
North Ave. from Mayfair Rd. east to N. 81st St. The street is closed to regular traffic
at 7:30 a.m. Spectators may place chairs along the parade route beginning at 6
a.m. the day of the parade. The afternoon program begins at 12:30 pm at Hart Park
(73rd and Chestnut) and runs until 4 pm. There will be pony rides, camel rides,
and a petting zoo. Music on the Move will offer rides (with the purchase of a $10

SUMMERFEST ROCK ‘N SOLE HALF MARATHON AND 10K RUN Summerfest
is excited to present the inaugural Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Run - a thrilling half
marathon and a 10k run that starts and finishes at Summerfest, the world’s largest
music festival. This event presents an incredible first-time opportunity for athletes
to run over a stretch of the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge. A total of $22,000 in cash
prizes will be awarded to the top 10 male and female runners in each race, with

CROSSROADS: ART ON 27TH AND WELLS Features window installations by
Wisconsin artists Hans Gindlesberger, Rafael Francisco Salas, Michael Velliquette
