Winemaker's Dinner you hosted in Nashville! It was so very generous of you and most
appreciated, as I noticed there was not an empty seat in the house! Sparky, you kept my
whole table laughing (increasingly as we drank more!) the entire night and your stories are
just great. Your enthusiasm and love for your family, your wines, (and your new career as a
top ranked go cart racer) is contagious and so genuine. We loved hearing your Mom speak as
well and I was happy to hear that my personal favorite (Enchanted Path) was made for her. I
was even able to teach Scott a few things about Molly Dooker-believe me, that doesn't
happen often when it comes to wine! And I could also brag about the fact that my blended
wine lost by just one vote at my table! He was very proud indeed! I wanted all of you to
know too that my guest (an Ironman Triathlete) appreciated the Dinner more than you could
possibly imagine. She has been in training all year for the triathlon in November, so suffice it
to say, the indulgence meant so very much to her! Thanks again to all of you for such a

Simone - If there were a way to make you 2 in charge of the world, what a beautiful world it
would be indeed! You & your teams have followed through on each and every concern I have
had regarding the delivery of my gifts of the 'boxes of Love' wine. I know that Sarah &
Sparky pay you, but, if there were something that Mah-Mah and I could do for you, we would
be so glad to do it for you! Tell Sparky & Miss Janet (Mum!) that we are so sorry that we did
not have time to spend talking with them, but when Sparky told me they was haided for
Whitefish, Montana the very next day and then to Iowa the night after that, I told Mah-Mah
and the rest of our party to leave them alone and maybe they could get some sleep! Please let

Short and simple - Steve came along to say g'day in Washington DC - 'Great job guys!'
Gina and Mike of Springfield IL had a lot of fun at our recent winemaker's dinner in

Cynthia from New York (one of our newest Velvet Lounge members) is just the sweetest 'Dear Tarlie, I am truly honored and very, very excited! I do love the Mollydookers and I
have been so pleased with the service extended to me every time I have ordered from the
website! Of course I buy the wines locally as well. I need to tell you that the best gift I ever
received, was the 2009 Velvet Glove that was presented to me this past February on my 50th
birthday by some of my dear friends who are also big, big fans! I almost lost consciousness
when I opened the package! I never thought I would ever get the opportunity to taste it and
look forward to trying it soon! (I haven't opened it yet). Please pass along my gratitude to

We've been completely overwhelmed by the love and support we are getting from all over the world
regarding the Velvet Glove. Read on for one of the many emails we have received...'Dear Janet, I
was heartbroken to hear the news about the Velvet Glove. Heartbroken, first of all, for all of you at
Molly Dooker Wines who work so hard to bring your phenomenal wines to us humble enthusiasts.
Heartbroken, also, for the loss of such an incredible wine in such a tragic way, as well as the loss that
we, the humble Molly Dooker enthusiasts feel. Your wines - your company - have been such a big part
of my life for years now, often being the common thread in bonds that I have formed with other
enthusiasts. (This is the most I've ever used the word 'enthusiast'!) Sarah and Sparky's decision to
resist raising the price is applaudable, to say the least. Congratulations to all of you who are a part of

sad to hear about the loss of all those cases of your wonderful Velvet Glove. We visited with our
friends in April and we have been meaning to get in touch to thank you all for a most wonderful time
we will never forget. We have raved to everyone in Cairns about your wines and the wonderful people
we met when we visited. We know how much love and care and part of yourselves that goes into the

Hi Sparky & Sarah, About eighteen months ago an amazing human being walked his way into my life.
Needless to say that life has not been the same since. Not very long after we met, this recently
widowed man had stolen my heart for good. It was not long after that that I was introduced to the two
biggest gifts someone could ever receive, his beautiful young daughters. Together they have made me
the luckiest woman on earth and as of last December, when all three of them proposed to me, I am so
happy and proud to say they are my family. Along our journey, we have celebrated almost every
memory and milestone with a very special guest…Molly Dooker! Introduced to us by a friend at about
the same time our romance began, we have now spent every holiday, celebration, and many
unforgettable nights, with a bottle of either The Boxer, Two Left Feet, Blue-Eyed Boy or Carnival of
Love. Last fall, we had the honor of meeting you (Sparky and Mum) at the event held at Morton‟s in
Miami, Florida. We had a great night with my wonderful sister-in-law and her husband as well as the
very friend that introduced us to Molly. It is no secret that Molly Dooker is always a guest at our home,
so much so that even our daughters now know about “the shake”. Therefore when it was time to
purchase the wine for our upcoming wedding on August 6th, we worked with our local wine shop to
place an order for our very special day. I‟m so excited to be able to say that the wine served to all our
guests on the night of our wedding will be the 2009 Blue-Eyed Boy (in honor of the year we met) and
the 2010 Violinist. It seemed truly fitting to have our guests toast with and enjoy the very same wine
that has been with us through so many special moments in our relationship. An extremely private
person, I‟ve never even dreamed of writing a letter such as this one. However as the date of our
wedding nears, I wanted to thank you for your exceptional wines, we have truly enjoyed every single
bottle with each other and those we love. I hope that we can one day make it to McLaren Vale and visit

Simone, one of our helping hands received these amazing comments on what a fantastic job she does
from Mollydooker Mate, Mike LeFevre of Texas ‘Sarah & Sparky, A few months back I was at a
restaurant in Boulder, Colorado and my girlfriend happened to stumble on your wine, The Boxer. We
both thoroughly enjoyed it and I decided to purchase a bottle of it and Enchanted Path for her
birthday. Since I live in Texas and the wine essentially has to cross a desert to get here, temperature
was an issue, and I began to worry when a weather delay was put on my wine. I emailed Helping Hand
and received a phone call back from Simone very quickly. I would just like to say that you should hire
more people like her (if there are any). She took the time to keep me updated (by multiple emails and
phone calls) as to the status of my order, and was able to ensure that my order would be delivered in
time. I just got it today and I could not be more pleased. Most companies like to say that they take
customer service seriously, but at the end of the day don't walk the walk. Mollydooker is clearly not
one of those companies. Your wine is enough reason to order from you, but the superb customer
service offered by Simone really takes it to a whole different level. Thank you very much for creating

A Mollydooker Coincidence - or an infinitely small world by Sparky's Dad and Vera

Coincidence No 1:
Canadian Trip
The tour included a dinner cruise on Lake Ontario from Toronto. We walked along the pier towards
what we thought was our vessel for the evening. It was magnificent: wow this will be good! It was
called the Matthew Flinders! Oh no sorry that‟s not our vessel it‟s the one next to it! Watch you don‟t
slip on the steep gang plank. OK that‟s not a coincidence it‟s a divergence! Here‟s the coincidence:- We
shared a table with a couple from Burpengary just north of Brisbane. We each ordered a glass of the
optional wine (not included in the price!) and started talking about the wine industry in general. We
mentioned that Sparks & Sarah were wine makers in Mclaren Vale exporting top class wines to the
United States. The lady looked at me with a wry expression on her face and said “you are not talking
about Mollydooker Wines are you?”. It turned out that their eldest son lived in Houston in Texas
where he‟d met and married a French lady. For the wedding breakfast she had chosen and supplied
French wines and he had chosen and supplied several cases of Australian wines: Mollydookers. When
our friends had visited their second son who lives in New Jersey for a family reunion they were joined
by number one son and his wife bringing more Mollydookers to celebrate. After the tour our friends
were going on to stay with their son in New Jersey and Mollydooker coincidences was top of the list
for discussion. So how‟s that! So hope you are all well. More tales to come. Much love Dad & Vera'
Some positive feedback from Frank Coletti of CA about Vinfillment, our fulfillment house - „To All at
Mollydooker: I wanted to let you know that I ordered some Carnival of Love; Blue Eyed Boy and The
Boxer wines recently and went to NAPA to pick them up at VinFillment. I could not believe that it was
so easy and quick as I was in a hurry and went to VinFillment, got the wines, which were ready for me
upon arrival, and was back in my office in 2-1/2 hours. My office is in Sacramento, CA. - about an hour
from NAPA. All friends of Mollydooker wines, especially those living in the San Francisco Bay, and the
surrounding areas, should know that it was that easy and fast to get the wines that we enjoy so much.
I had relatives visiting from Connecticut and we all loved MD wines for the next three days. They said

help everyone understand it is a great little trip to VinFillment. Thank you, Frank‟
Our great mate, Josh Warsaw of CA dropped Janet a line as he wanted to share this special moment
with us, his beautiful parents drinking the Carnival of Love on their 35th Wedding Anniversary.
He even found time to educate the restaurant staff saying „...we were at a great restaurant called
Jillian's. I gathered the bartender and all the servers and the sommelier and taught them the
Mollydooker Shake haha!‟
„...Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help Krissy at the WS Tour event in Las Vegas. I'm not sure
about the total event attendance, but, people were lined up an hour early to get in, and, our booth was
very busy the whole time - almost couldn't pour the wine fast enough - the crowd in front of our table
was two or three deep most of the evening...I know that our early visitors were telling their friends
that they had to try whatever we were serving because it was really special. I heard 'WOW' many times
throughout the evening (and, some OMG's) as I watched them taste the Velvet Glove. I also noticed
that many exhibitors stopped by because people were telling them about our amazing wine. Various
wine reps and winemakers stopped by more than once...We never had any lulls in the action and it
was really a thrill to see and hear everyone raving about our wine. I hope to be able to help with these

Creek about 15 years ago in the exact same room as we ate on Wednesday. Passion is so important in
the wine industry but is sadly lacking in the corporate wine companies that have commoditised wine.
Your passion was inspirational in my early learning days of wine. I could now be regarded as a wine
tragic with a large underground cellar full of marvellous wines. My wife can‟t understand why I keep
buying wine and the concept – there is no such thing as too much wine. It‟s great to see you have your

Blowing away the Competition
„Sparky, It has been some time since I last wrote or saw you. I think the Blue Eyed Boy you shared
with Karen and me along with our friends the Omels in Las Vegas at the Wine Spec event was the last
time we saw you. Thank you again for sharing that great wine with us! . This past week, I was the host
for the winetasting group where I have been a member for 10+ years. All wines were tasted blind and
the theme was wines that have been in the Wine Spectator Top 10. As much abuse as the Aussie wines
have taken over the past few years, it would be great to have more tasting like this. The majority of the
16 members of this group are not Aussie wine fans...or at least they had taken a hiatus until Sunday
nite's tasting. 3 of the 4 Aussie wines simply blew the doors off of the competition. I have to admit
that I personally also liked the 2005 Casa Lapostelle Clos Apalta, but the 2 Carnival of Love wines and
the Two Hands Bella's Garden were clearly the fan favorites of the night. Thank you again for the
great job you continue to do...I was in "The Mark" restaurant in South Bend, IN on Saturday nite and
at the bar learned that The Boxer is their best selling wine by the bottle...of course, they were out of it!!

„Nerves gave him Two Left feet on our first date. After chatting together with many a Maitre D,
resulting in plenty of bottles of Mollydooker with my Blue Green Eyed Boy, I finally loaded up the

'I wanted to thank you all again for the memorable and precious time that my wife and I spent at your
winery… Sure, we were very impressed with the opera house (who wouldn't be), but without a doubt,
our fondest memory of the entire 3 week trip was our visit to your fine establishment. Leigh was such
a delightful, soft spoken and sincere man with a true love and understanding of the vines. We could
tell that he actually "felt" the vines, he just knows what they need… Is there such a thing as a “Vine
whisperer”? If there isn‟t yet, I think Leigh is the pioneer. After spending some time with Leigh, we
were then introduced to Peter who showed us around the grounds and the winemaking equipment
and how your exquisite elixirs are made. Throughout this process, Peter explained what the term
“fruit weight” meant. I think this term is rather exclusive to your winery. After explaining what it
meant, he then gave us several barrel tastings of different “fruit weights” to show us the difference. I
was very pleased that I managed to score 100% on all the barrel tastings that he gave us, even though
they were in the “ugly stage” and not what I am used to tasting. Afterwards, we returned back to the
main office where a lunch was laid out for us, and Leigh joined us again, along with a bottle of your
2009 Gigglepot, Carnival of Love and Velvet Glove. I must say, although I do love your 05‟s, the 2009
are truly remarkable. Again, hat‟s off to you all for such a great vintage. I can hardly wait until my
cellar is well stocked with that amazing vintage. I have already placed (an as yet) an unconfirmed
order for a case of each of the above and the Enchanted Path. As if all this were not enough for anyone
already, as we were about to leave, Peter grabbed a bag and handed us the unfinished wine to take
with us. AND THEN….we get presented with a magnum of your Carnival of Love which is now the
most prized trophy I own in my cellar (of 5000 bottles) signed by pretty much everyone but Sparky
(sorry we missed you sir) as he was apparently in the States during our visit. Words cannot properly
express our gratitude or our feelings, so please for now, accept our heartfelt thank you, our open
invitation to Peter and Leigh to come and visit us in our home in Canada and our continued loyalty

'We sampled the Violinist and the Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz at a recent dinner at 13 Restaurant with the
wine buyer for Havana Blue and his fiancée, the manager for Café Amici. The staff at 13 and everyone
else loved both wines. I have attached a picture for you (above). We will send more as restaurants
