LIMITED WARRANTY
FOR TEN YEARS AFTER ORIGINAL PURCHASE, TJ RAMPIT WILL EXCHANGE FREE OF CHARGE ANY
DEFECTIVE ALUMINUM PARTS FOR NEW OR COMPARABLE REBUILT PARTS. NO CHARGE WILL BE MADE
FOR LABOR FOR WARRANTY WORK 180 DAYS AFTER ORIGINAL PURCHASE. AFTER THAT PERIOD, ANY
DEFECTIVE PART MAY BE EXCHANGED BY CONTACTING TJ RAMPIT, BUT LABOR FOR REMOVAL OF ANY
DEFECTIVE PART OR INSTALLATION OF ANY NEW OR COMPARABLE REBUILT PART WILL BE AT YOUR
EXPENSE.
THIS WARRANTY COVERS NORMAL CONSUMER USE. IT DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE THAT OCCURS IN
SHIPMENT OR THAT RESULTS FROM ALTERATION, ACCIDENT, MISUSE, ABUSE, NEGLECT, WEATHER
EVENT, OR STORM DAMAGE.

3. ATTACHING RAMP TO PLATFORM
-ATTACH STEEL ADAPTER TO BOTH STRINGERS ON THE RAMP
USING 5/16" BOLT AND WASHER (HOLES IN STRINGER ARE PRE
DRILLED) PLACE ROUND HEAD OF BOLT ON THE SURFACE SIDE OF
THE RAMP TO PREVENT CATCHING OR TRIPPING
RAMP
-ONCE BOTH STEEL ADAPTERS ARE SECURE HOOK THE
OVERHANGING PART OF THE STEEL ADAPTER ON THE PLATFORM
-BOLT THE SMALL ANGLE BRACKET TO THE STEEL ADAPTER SUCH
THAT THE BRACKET ANGLES OPPOSITE OF THE RAMP SURFACE
(AS SHOWN IN PICTURE)
-USE 1/4" SELF TAPPING SCREW TO ATTACH ANGLE BRACKET TO
THE SURFACE OF THE PLATFORM

4. HOOKING 2 RAMPS TOGETHER
LEG CLAMP
(LOOSEN BOLT ON THE END
OF CLAMP FOR LEG POST)
-LOCATE THE CROSS ARM ASSEMBLY (THIS WILL HAVE THE
CROSS ARM CLAMPS AND THE LEG CLAMPS ALREADY
INSTALLED) LOOSEN THE BOLTS ON THE CLAMP SETS BUT
DO NOT REMOVE
CROSS ARM ASSEMBLY
-REMOVE THE NUT AND WASHER ALREADY INSTALLED ON
THE ENDS OF THE RAMP STRINGERS (LEAVE BOLT IN
PLACE). ATTACH ONE SIDE OF THE CROSS ARM CLAMP TO
THE BOLT ON ONE OF THE RAMPS THEN USING THE
WASHER AND NUT ALREADY REMOVED, TIGHTEN THE
CROSS ARM CLAMP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RAMP. REPEAT
THIS PROCESS ON THE END OF THE OTHER RAMP BEING
ATTACHED, AND ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE 2 RAMPS
(SHOWN IN PICTURE)

SO THEY ROTATE FREELY)
-SLIDE LEGS INTO LEG CLAMPS AND POSITION RAMP TO
THE CORRECT HEIGHT AND TIGHTEN DOWN LEG CLAMPS
*NOTE: ADA REQUIRES RAMP SLOPE 1:12 APPROX. 4.7~

-ATTACHING THE RAMP TO THE TURN BACK PLATFORM IS
SIMILAR TO ATTACHING IT TO THE FIRST PLATFORM IN
STEP 3. THE ONLY THING THAT IS DIFFERENT IS THE
STEEL BRACKET NEEDS TO BE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
-SET THE FIRST PART OF THE TURN BACK PLATFORM UP
THE SAME AS STEPS 1 AND 2

INSTALLED ON

5/16" x 2-1/2" BOLT (THESE BOLTS WILL SCREW INTO THE INSERTS PRE
INSTALLED IN THE HANDRAIL MOUNTS)
-THE HOLES WILL NEED TO BE DRILLED IN THE RAIL PANELS USING A 3/8"
DRILL BIT. THE TOP OF THE INNER RAILING MUST BE BETWEEN 34" AND
36" ABOVE THE RAMP SURFACE

10. INSTALLING ANSI LOOPS
-INSTALL AN ADDITIONAL HANDRAIL SUPPORT MOUNT AT THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE
RAMPS (SHOWN IN PICTURE) THIS EXTRA MOUNT WILL BE 12-1/4" BELOW THE TOP
MOUNT.
-ATTACH THE ANSI LOOP TO THE TWO SUPPORT MOUNTS USING THE 1/8" SELF TAPPING
SCREW SIMILAR TO PUTTING THE INNER RAIL TOGETHER
-PLACE A BLACK PLASTIC CAP ON THE BOTTOM SUPPORT MOUNT TO COVER THE EXPOSED
HOLE
-NOTE: THE ANSI LOOP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RAMPS NEED TO BE POSITIONED SO
THEY ANGLE UP AND AT THE TOP THEY NEED TO BE ANGLED DOWN (SHOWN IN PICTURE)
