The most functional table available! The Performance Series
Vault Table offers the widest range of height settings on the
market with quick and easy adjustment.
The V-Groove Spinlock and Snaplock mechanisms provide
fast, secure height adjustments ranging from 100cm (39
3/8”) to 140cm (55 1/8”) in 5cm (2”) increments. The vault’s
top has a more forgiving surface for repetitive training and
greater repulsion, and vault’s base design has easy leveling

The Table’s height smoothly adjusts from 100cm (39 1/3”)

The flexible front section has been designed to absorb

Foam Table Trainer

The Foam Table Trainer facilitates skill progression training
for gymnasts using the regulation Vault Table. It is constructed
with EVA foam over high-density polyurethane foam for
maximum surface stability. Velcro secures the sections
together and firmly keeps the trainer in place on a carpeted
surface. Trainer consists of four sections: 40cm (15 3/4”),
60 cm (23 3/16”), 15cm (5 27/32”) and 10cm (3 15/16”).
Total height is 125cm (49 3/16”). Optional CFT-135-10 allows
trainer to reach 135cm (53 1/8”) (sold separately).
Level 3 Vault Mat System

This 4-piece system includes two base mats (5’ W x 10’ L x
16” H, each) and two additional mats, providing 16”, 32”, 40”,
and 48” landing surfaces. Meets all specifications for USA
Gymnastics Level 3 and Xcel Vault.
Yellow Velcro strips are permanently attached 32” from the
front edge of each section. Measuring and taping is not
required. Mats secure to each other with 4” Velcro. All mats
are covered in tough, 18oz. PVC vinyl and breather mesh for
durability.
Inner foam is prime, 100% unfilled polyuethane - single layer
in the 8” mats and lattice construction in the pit, providing
outstanding shock absorption.
Vault Runways
All Spieth America Vault Runways are made with
resilient Trocellen polyethylene sport foam bonded

These revolutionary bars are designed to FIG dimensional specifications, while incorporating
features for quick and easy adjustments. The pin lock, spring loaded adjusting tubes reduce
pinch points when adjusting the uprights. The adjusting handle design allows you to make

Spotting Platform

The Spotting Platform has a fold down spring-loaded platform
in which one person using a foot release pedal can easily adjust
the height. The platform can also be locked into place in the
horizontal position as needed. Platform is 21” W x 49” L and
adjusts in height from 3’10” to 5’7” in 3” increments. It works
with all Spieth America apparatus and is excellent for use over
pits. Requires 4 anchors for installation (included).
All-American Spotting Platform

Designed for use on the All-American Uneven Bars, this allows
coaches and spotters closer access to the athlete. The twin
platforms are 22” x 22” each and automatically retract to their
upright position by way of self-lubricating gas shocks. The
platform itself can be locked at 180 degrees or angles to match
the high upright tube on the uneven bar if needed (15 degrees
either way). Maximum weight of 200 lbs per side. Platform is
adjustable on the length of the upright tube.

The bowed frame design, 8-point cable attachments and pivoting ball joints of the Spieth America
Ring Frame continuously amplify flex in the frame and absorb energy from the gymnast. Springloaded swivels combined with built-in shock absorbers substantially reduce
the jolt and stress on the gymnast’s shoulders and back.
Multi-laminated wood rings made of European beech are suspended by 2” non-stretch, heavy-duty
nylon straps and plastic-encased aircraft grade cables. Lightweight tubular steel units assemble
easily and can be stored or transported in 6’ sections. The FIG maximum height requirement of the

PowerTrac
The PowerTrac is the best choice for tumble training. It allows for multiple repetitions
while reducing the risk of overuse injuries. Decreases stress on body parts. A great
way to teach tumbling or a variety of other gymnastic and cheerleading skills! Each

Pits and In-Ground Trampolines
Loose Foam, In-Ground Pits
Spieth America offers customized loose foam, in-ground pits. Each pit design comprises of
a foam pit trampoline, loose foam cubes, and pit edge padding.
The foam pit trampoline frame is constructed of angle iron with 1/4” round rod, zig-zag
wire welded on for spring attachment and pre-drilled with holes for easy attachment to pit
walls. Wedge bolts are also available for your convenience to use with trampoline pit frames
when anchoring into concrete walls. The bed is made from polypropylene material. Spring
attachments are spaced approximately 4 1/4” apart and set back from the edge leaving a
flap to go over the top of the springs. The flap has holes about every two feet so it can be
secured in place.
The foam cubes come in two sizes - 6” or 8”. The pit edge padding consists of the same
material as our Carpet Bonded Foam (see page 35). Each panel is 6’ long and 2” or 1 3/8”
thick and secure to the wall with a contact adhesive. Sections come pre-cut flat for easy use
and installation.

Landing Mats
Our Landing Mats are made using top layer polyethylene foam that’s known for
shock absorption, compression resistance and cushioning properties. We also use
prime, virgin polyurethane foam that’s totally free from undesirable chemical fillers.
It’s an important distinction because inferior mats that use these fillers have far less
longevity. Successive layering of foams, beginning and ending with the softer of the
two polyurethanes, builds the ‘no- sting’ feature right into the landing mat.
Other Details Include
• Heavy duty, 18oz. close-woven vinyl made from coated polyester for durability
• All landing mats are manufactured with 1 1/4” Trocellen polyethylene foam
• Mats available in standard widths and lengths in 12cm and 20cm thickness;
options include Velcro on the ends or Velcro on all 4 sides and folding or

FlipSmart Mat

The newest innovation created by Brian Howell
of Jungle Gymnastics. This multi-piece mat
system has endless uses. Its biggest draw is as a
self-spotting double back drill!. Front tucks,
back extension rolls, front and back layout drills,

Safety
Warning! Any activity involving motion, height or speed
creates the possibility of serious injury. No gymnastic
mat is a fail-safe to injury. Never land on head, neck
or back onto any type of mat as serious, catastrophic
injury, even death, could result. You assume a risk of
serious injury in using this sports equipment. This risk
can be reduced by strictly following these rules at all
times:
Rule 1: carefully check equipment
First, make sure the equipment is adjusted properly,
secured tightly and is in proper working condition.
Inspect for any loose parts and insure stability. Replace
any worn, defective or missing parts before use. Insure
that any and all removable devices, such as a beam
crank or handles, are removed before any activity. If
in doubt, do not use the equipment. Ensure adequate
matting appropriate to the activity is in the correct
position.
Rule 2: know your limits
Instructors and participants should all know, understand
and appreciate the limits of gymnastic mats and floor
surfaces to help insure a safe environment.
Rule 3: choose mats carefully
The type of mat must suit the activity, be sufficient in
size and must be set up properly. If in doubt, refer to
FIG and USA Gymnastics guidelines.
Rule 4: when to use base mats
Base mats should never be used as a training or landing
mat alone. Instead, they can be used in the following
ways:
• for a resilient surface for tumbling
• as a primary surface upon which landing mats
are placed
• to level a floor surface to that of the apparatus
base plates
Rule 5: when NOT to use landing mats
Landing mats are designed for shock absorption, not
resiliency, so you should never use one as a tumbling or
vaulting takeoff surface. The purpose of landing mats
is to minimize the impact commonly associated with
controlled feet-first landings.
Rule 6: use more matting
When new and/or difficult skills are being performed,
always use additional matting where appropriate. As
skill proficiency increases, less padding can be used.
Rule 7: inspect carefully
Mats and floor surfaces should be inspected regularly
for tears, soft spots, separation of foam and fatigue
(failure to perform adequately). Defective mats
and floors should be removed immediately and the
activity should be adjusted accordingly. Instructors
and performers must maintain constant vigilance
regarding safety of gymnastic mats and be aware
of the possibility of problems such as mat slippage,
mat-to-mat separation, performer slippage, uneven or
overlapped mats, etc.
Rule 8: more than just matting
Matting must never be used along as a safety device
or in place of performer readiness, appropriate skill
progression, competent instruction/supervision and
proper spotting.
Rule 9: in case of emergency
Instructors and supervisors should be aware of the
potential medical emergencies that could occur in
gymnastics and be prepared to respond to them in an
appropriate manner.
Rule 10: always prepared, never careless
Dress appropriately, follow accepted warm-up practices
and be mentally prepared to engage in the activity. As
gymnastics is an activity requiring active concentration,
horseplay or any other form of carelessness cannot be
tolerated at any time for any reason.
Rule 11: proper skill progression
A safe learning environment includes a correct
understanding of the skill being performed and
following proper skill progressions. When in doubt,
always consult your instructor.
Rule 12: basic, new and difficult skills
Safe learning practices demand mastering basic skills
before progressing to new and/or more difficult levels.
Before attempting a new or difficult skill, always take
into consideration the readiness and ability of the
performer, as well as the nature of the task and the
competency of the spotter.
Rule 13: lastly, landing
Safe dismounts, as well as unintentional falls, require
proper landing techniques. No amount of matting can
be a fail-safe. Avoid landing on the head or neck at
all costs as serious or catastrophic injuries may result.
Once committed to a skill, always follow through
to completion and remain aware that the prime
consideration is protection of the head and spinal
column.
