Post-Secret Assignment: PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail
in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. TED TALK

in your visual journal. Create 2 thumbnails experiementing with MIXED MEDIA
GLOSS! Also go to the postsecret website and print out 2 of your favorite secrets and explain
why you connect… either funny, clever, or soulful…..
1.Get 2 index cards 5x7 inches
2.Choose a secret to tell the class anonymously (things to keep in mind - I will know who
wrote what. It will be posted publicly in my class so it cannot say/display anything outside of
school rules. There are certain secrets I must report and certain ones I will not put up on the
board.
3.Apply MIXED MEDIA to your card to match your secret (things to keep in mind – see
above)
4.Posted your secret

5.We will have a card walk/crit after they are turned in.
6. Extension to campus project.
7. Make a 2nd post-secret card outside of class.
