From driving & fixing our bus in Europe to fixing/building ministry centers & churches to upgrading YWAM bldgs
Leeanne & Sarah shared Jesus with kids & adults they met, did mime & evangelism along with our teams and
learned about exotic places like Budapest above in the Communist days while I shared the Gospel with soldiers.

We built churches, street preached back in the days before the Berlin Wall fell & ministered to destitute kids as
Leeanne & Sarah befriended them. That’s Kathy above hauling bricks & sharing the Gospel on the street.
We’ve preached in Communist city squares, underground churches & shared the Gospel with Libyans for the first time.
Bob ministered at Spa Belgium years before NASCAR, We ministered in Amsterdam’s Red Light Dist. & inside the EEC
We have slept on Boatels, castles, and even Polish Military bases & campgrounds, a Convent, & NIKO campsites in USA

Leeanne’s heart for Mexico has spurred investment into Mexican families over the years as our family, & the NASCAR
racing community have built homes for homeless families, dug outhouse pits, helped orphanages, & many other ways.
Target 2000 Great Commission
Torch Run was big part of our
family ministry in 1988—1992. We
crossed the USA East-West and
North-South commissioning our
next generation into ministry &
leadership. We stopped in cities,
state Capitals, huge festivals sharing the Gospel & the call to serve.
This Torch Run ran world wide crossing nations & continents. We ran Plymouth Rock to LA & Canada to Mexico.
NIKO is a precious ministry in our
whole family's heart. Bob’s still active,
& the oldest person to do a NIKO has
staffed his 43’rd NIKO in 2012 while
Kathy, our girls & their husbands are
all into the 20’s. Our family have
helped pioneer the NIKO ministry in
CA, WY, and AK. NIKO has changed
so many lives both young and old and
while getting to watch is an honor.
In 1995 YWAM Salem took
to biking around the state of
Oregon on an Prayer and
intercession trip. Our family
were four of the bikers that
experienced a remarkable
journey where God showed
up daily in remarkable ways
In 1996 Kathy & I teamed
with YWAM friends Kristen & Lisa to spend the
summer in Atlanta serving
the Olympics as security
team leaders at four venues; Kathy led the Olympic
Hotel & Bob the Main
Press Center.
Our Youth With A Mission North American Leader's Conference banner with the symbolic fingerprint of God He has placed upon North America. All 86 4K Zones in North America are printed
within the fingerprint along with the scriptures & words the Lord had us carry to, pray out & proclaim in each zone during 2008-2009 as we met & prayed with YWAM & ministry leaders in all 86
North American Zones. It was amazing & sort of followed the Torch Run in our early YWAM days.
In 2005 we created Beyond Checkered Flags Ministries NonProfit linking YWAM, MRO, & our local Church ministry.
Racing has been a major part of Bob’s life since the 50’s. The #22, black & gold, boots he raced in; are all part of who he is. In the mid 80’s we
dreamed of giving back to the racing community by meeting with the late Al Holbert at a Portland race. Bob first ministered at Spa in Belgium
in 1987. Then in the late 90’s the legendary late NASCAR Director Gib Repass ask Bob to become his series Chaplain and the rest is history.
