President’s Message
Brothers,
G
. reetings everyone!
January is here and has
brought old man winter
along with it. The New
Year has also arrived.
Let us all have a great 2011 throughout the
whole year.
We closed out 2010 and started the new
year by having a great New Years Eve
Party at the lodge. Thank you to IPP Jamie
Kaim for chairing that event. There was
good food, great music, and lots of “cheer”
into the wee hours of Jan. 1st.

From the Editor
You may have noticed a change in
editors of La Gazzetta on page one. Bro.
Joe Bruno, who has been our editor for
the past two years, has resigned from
that assignment due to an increasing
work load in his many private enterprises. The lodge is very grateful to Joe
for his service as editor and the many
other aspects of the lodge he has participated in since becoming a member.
As the former editor I have agreed to
take over the newsletter once again. I
invite any member who would like to
contribute an article or other information pertinent to our lodge to contact me.
I will try to accommodate your submissions as space allows. Like everything
else involving our lodge, this is YOUR
newsletter. I’m just the facilitator. Let
me know how we can make it better.

From the
President’s Desk
Over 150 members, children, and guests were on
hand to enjoy our annual
Breakfast with Santa on
Dec. 11th. Each child received a gift from Santa,
courtesy of Rich and Debi
Bixby, owners of the
Bixby Home Adult Care
Facility, located in Interlaken, NY.
Many thanks go out to
Sam Cosentino and his
committee, our kitchen
staff, and the Guererri family for all they did to make
this event possible.
Lodge members and guests
were treated to another
great holiday concert on
Dec. 5th, performed by the
Southern Tier All Star Jazz
Band. As always with the
STASJB, the music was
terrific and the dancers had
a great time. Fans of the
STASJB can catch them
again on April 3rd at the
Ramada Inn in Geneva.
