Cast Bios
Julia Alexander (Jitterbug/ Ozian/ Flying Monkey) – Julia is a
student at Stevensville Middle School. She is an active member of
the Choir and Drama Club. Her performances include The Little
Mermaid Jr. and Sleigh Ride Around the World. She is beyond
thrilled to be a part of CCT’s Wizard of Oz.
Sarah Anthony (Jitterbug/ Ozian/ Flying Monkey) – Sarah is 12
years old and in seventh grade at Easton Middle School. She has
been in several Easton Middle School plays, Beauty and the Beast,
The Music Man, Willy Wonka, Annie and Peter Pan. Also, Sarah
was in Beauty and the Beast Junior and sang a solo in the Disney
Cabaret with Chesapeake Children’s Theatre. Sarah appeared in
the production, The Christmas Story at the Avalon Theatre. Her
most recent role was a “Native” in the Easton Middle School play,
Peter Pan. When not performing, Sarah enjoys reading, swimming,
singing and writing her own plays.

Sarah Browning (Tree /Ozian/ Winkie) – Sarah is 14 years old.
She is in 8th grade at Lockerman Middle School. This is her first
production with CCT. Sarah enjoys singing in the Chorus at school
and playing her guitar.
Sara Chapple (Jitterbug/ Ozian/ Flying Monkey) - This is Sara's
seventh Chesapeake Children's Theater production, as she was also
in Jungle Book, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast,
The Sound of Music and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She recently
performed at CCT's "A Toast to Musical Theater" at Triple Creek
Winery. Sara is a part of the Harrison Street Choir at Christ
Church in Easton and is also a part of the youth band, Forever
Redeemed. Sara also takes voice and piano lessons from CCT's
Laura Spies. Sara is a 6th grader at Easton Middle School. Sara can
be found singing most days but also enjoys playing softball, field
hockey, and swimming. Sara would like to give a shout out to her
family, friends, teachers, Miss Kimberly, Miss Paula, and cast
members of Wizard of Oz!
Phoebe Fisher (Professor Marvel/Wizard of Oz/Doorman/Guard)
– Phoebe is a freshman at Easton High School. In her free time she
enjoys crew and theater. She has thoroughly enjoyed playing the
Wizard, Professor Marvel, the Doorman and the Guard.

Cast Bios (cont.)
Bree Stevens (Toto) - Bree LOVES to sing, dance and act! She has
been performing on stage since the age of 5 when she played the
role of “The Littlest Reindeer” at CCT. Since then, she has performed in many CCT productions. Most recently she was Eeyore
in “Winnie the Pooh” and Penny in “101 Dalmatians”. In addition
to musical theatre, Bree enjoys playing the piano, swimming and
riding her bike. Bree is very excited to play the role of Toto in The
Wizard of Oz production and will be happy to give paw print
autographs after the show!
Emily Thompson (Glinda) – Emily is 14 years old. She was a
competitive gymnast and was a dancer for a while. She has also
loved to sing and play the piano. She has participated in other
plays, but this is her first musical with CCT.
Sammi Tibbitt (Hunk/Scarecrow) - This is Sammi's 16th show
with CCT. Her last performance was as Millie Dillmount in
Thoroughly Modern Millie. Her next performance will be as
Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical. She is an 8th grader at Easton
Middle School and is really bad at doing bios. CCT is her life.
Bella Grant (Jitterbug/ Ozian) - This is Bella's last performance with
Chesapeake Children's Theatre. She enjoyed performing in My Son
Pinocchio (Pinocchio), Beauty and the Beast (Chip), and Thoroughly
Modern Millie (Priscilla Girl). She had a lot of fun rehearsing The
Lion King and performed that at The Junior Theatre Festival with
her fellow cast members. She has also participated in The Avalon's
Miracle on 34th Street (Susan Walker) and A Christmas Story (Helen
Weathers). In addition to theatre, she enjoys reading, coxing with
Freedom Rowers, and writing.
Jennifer Greene (Tree / Ozian/ Winkie) – This is Jennifer’s second
appearance with CCT. She is a homeschooler and greatly enjoys
acting.
Olivia Hensley (Flying Monkey/Ozian/ Munchkin Barrister) Olivia is a vibrant and talented young lady who has performed in
over 7 theater performances. Her most recent roles included
"Rabbit" In Winne the Pooh and "Horace" in 101 Dalmatians. Olivia
enjoys music, plays basketball and soccer and is a big professional
sports fan in general. Olivia is in the 6th grade at Saints Peter and
Paul School.
Carly VanSchaik (Munchkin: Lollipop Guild/ Cat) – Carly has
performed in her first show “When I Grow Up” this past March.
She absolutely loves performing. She is also a member of her
school chorus. She is a 3rd grader at Preston Elementary School.
She also enjoys ballet, soccer, swimming, and softball.
Misha Hogan (Munchkin Woman) – no bio submitted.
Kacy Waters (Tree/ Ozian/ Winkie) - Kacy has appeared in various
productions at her school, CCT, and the Avalon, as well as several
dance recitals through the Mid-Shore Dance Studio. Her favorite
role was Baloo in “Jungle Book”. This is Kacy’s fifth appearance
with CCT. Other productions include “My Son Pinocchio”,
“Annie”, “Willie Wonka Kids”, “Dear Santa” and “Santa Diaries”.
She is a 7th grader at Sts. Peter and Paul.
Catherine Langston (Flying Monkey/Ozian/ Munchkin Coroner) Catherine is 11 years old and is in the 6th grade. She has participated in two Cabaret performances and three CCT Productions. She
was Fauna, in Sleeping Beauty, Cruella DeVil, in 101 Dalmations
and the Wizard of Oz. Beyond her love of the theater, Catherine
plays lacrosse, enjoys cooking, archery, sailing and training Max,
our yellow lab, to become a guide dog for the blind.
Owen White (Hickory/Tinman) – Owen has participated in many
CCT productions from Guys and Dolls to The Wizard of Oz. As a
13 year old actor, he is very happy with his acting and his dancing,
and he hopes to be a performer in London. As well as acting,
Owen rows on a crew team and hosts his own chess club.
Gracie Lee (Zeke/Cowardly Lion) – Gracie is a 7th grader at Lockerman Middle School. She acts as the school’s mascot and she is also
on the Principal’s List. This is Gracie’s third appearance with CCT.
She also enjoys playing softball and volleyball.
Erin Hopkins (Aunt Em/Crow/Ozian) – Erin is an 8th grader at Sts.
Peter and Paul, and has appeared in their productions of “101 Dalmatians”, “Peter Pan”, and “Mulan”. This is Erin’s 7th show with
CCT. Erin also enjoys writing and is in the midst of writing a novel.

Halle Lee (Crow/ Ozian/ Winkie) – Halle is an 8th grader at SSPP.
She enjoys the theatre and has been in a number of Chesapeake
Children’s Theatre productions including Annie, Alice in Wonderland and most recently, Beauty and the Beast. She also enjoys
writing and hopes to be an award winning published writer.
Wizard of Oz is one of her favorite movies and she is excited to be
part of the cast!
Brynn Lizewski (Munchkin Woman) – Brynn has appeared in
several plays at CCT. Her most recent role was “Roo” in Winnie
the Pooh. She is happiest when on stage! Brynn is a 3rd grader at
St. Michaels Elementary School and also enjoys field hockey and
lacrosse.
Aidan Loeser (Uncle Henry/Munchkin Mayor/Ozian) - Aidan
has enjoyed being on stage with CCT, participating in Willy Wonka
and the Chocolate Factory, Sleeping Beauty, Sound of Music, Aladdin and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Aidan is a 6th grader at The
Country School, where he was also played Michael Banks in their
production of Mary Poppins. Aidan performed as part of the cast
of the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta this past January and was
selected as an All-Star. Aidan loves performing with his CCT
family!
Jayden Mitchell (Munchkin: Lullaby League) – Jayden is a 2nd
grader at Chapel District Elementary School. She enjoys soccer and
hanging out with family. This is Jayden’s first Chesapeake
Children’s Theatre Production.
Madison Riley (Dorothy) - Madison is a 7th grader at Stevensville
MS who has always enjoyed singing and performing with her
school chorus and in talent shows. Madison discovered her love of
theatrical performance at a Kent Island summer camp as part of the
cast of The Little Mermaid Jr. As soon as the curtain closed, she was
anxious to find other opportunities to perform! This is Madison’s
first production with CCT. She has also been cast as “Teen Fiona”
in the upcoming CCT production of Shrek the Musical Jr. in June.
Luke Roser (Munchkin: Lollipop Guild) - Luke Roser is new to
theatre. The Christmas Story in December of last year was his first
‘official’ try at acting and singing on stage. He is known by his
family to be the entertainer at home and wanted to give it a try in
the ‘big lights’ among other local talented adults and children, from
his hometown. Since then, he has enjoyed working with Chesapeake Children’s Theatre as he played the roles of Christopher
Robin in their Winnie the Pooh play and now a Munchkin in the
Wizard of Oz.
Emily Royer (Jitterbug/ Ozian/ Flying Monkey) - This is Emily's
12th performance with CCT. She has also participated in several
shows through Crashbox Theatre and the Avalon Foundation.
Recent roles include "Slightly" in Peter Pan, and "Esther Jane" in A
Christmas Story. Emily is a 6th grade student at Easton Middle
School. She enjoys singing, dancing, playing soccer, and participating in Girl Scout and church activities.
Ethan Royer (Munchkin: Lollipop Guild) - This is Ethan's 6th
performance with CCT. His most recent role was a "Desperado" in
the Avalon's production of A Christmas Story. Ethan is a 2nd grade
student at Easton Elementary School who enjoys playing baseball,
basketball, and soccer. He is VERY excited to be a playing the role
of a "Munchkin" in his teacher's favorite show of all time - thank
you for coming, Mrs. Orr! :)
Logan Russ (Munchkin: Lullaby League) – Logan is a 2nd grader at
Chapel District Elementary School. She loves dance, music and
enjoys playing softball. This is her first appearance with CCT.
Anya Soulati (Munchkin: Lullaby League) – Anya has appeared in
various productions at CCT including Flakes, Swamped, 101 Dalmatians and Winnie the Pooh. She has also participated in many
voice recitals. She is a third grader at The Country School.
Heleah Soulati (Miss Gultch/Wicked Witch of the West) – Heleah
has been part of many productions including Aladdin, Sleeping
Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music and Thoroughly
Modern Millie. She has also performed in Peter Pan and Mary Poppins at the Country School where she is a seventh grader. She has
participated in many voice recitals and had an opportunity to
attend the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta performing The Lion
King.
