Volunteering for the formerly abused and neglected animals at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch
is a rewarding experience. Although the work is demanding, the animals’ appreciation is
immeasurable.







No prior experience with animals necessary
Onsite training and tasks to fit your comfort and skills
Duties include:
- Feeding, watering and grooming the animals
- Cleaning stalls and corrals
- Mowing grass & performing various
maintenance work
- Administering medications
- Taking horses in and out for exercise
- Restraining animals for the veterinarian and farrier
This demanding position involves bending, lifting and
direct contact with the ranch animals in all
types of weather
Daylight hours are available seven days a week
Please be at least 18 years of age
Ages under 18 depend on prior experience &
ranch needs
