AYURWEDA – TREATMENTS
1.ABHYANGA
Abhyanga is a procedure in which luke warm medicated herbal
oil is applied on various parts of the body in a systemic way.
This process is to be performed daily especially on
head,ear and sole to keep one healthy with youthfulness and
vigour. After abhyanga, swedana or steam therapy is done,
which helps to remove toxins from the body through sweat.

2. MADHYA & ADHOKAYA ABHYANGAM
Abhyanga given to whole body below neck.
3. URDHWAKAYA ABHYANGAM
Abhyanga given to head, face, ears, neck, shoulder and both hands.
4. PADABHYANGAM
Foot massage.
5. SHIRODHARA
Shirodhara is considered to be one of the best
discoveries of Ayurveda. This therapy consists of a
soothing flow of medicated herbal oil on your
forehead. As the therapy proceeds you feel yourself
going into sleep. Escape to a tranquil world where the
mind is relaxed. Prior to dhara slight abhyangam is done.
Dhara is done by using herbal oils, medicated milk or
medicated buttermilk.

6.ABHYANGAM + DHARA
This is a combination therapy to get the benefits of

mixture of milk and herbal decoction. This is a
process in which body is made to perspire to
remove the toxins.

Pizhichil is nothing but pouring of warm medicated herbal oil on

16.NETRA DHARA
Netradhara is pouring of herbal decoction in the eyes.

In sirovasthi, luke warm medicated herbal oil is poured into a cap fitted on the head.

18. KATIVASTHI

In this process specially prepared warm medicated oil is kept over the
Knee joint for certain period within herbal paste boundary.

20. NASYAM
Nasyam is a method where the medicated oil or herbal juices are
administered through the nose for the period of time prescribed.

21. KARNA PURANAM
In Karna Puranam or ear therapy, the ears are filled with Herbal
