B ASIC A LUMINIUM
L ight R esidentia l G rade
The Sliding Aluminium model from Kimberley Products is to be installed in
Light Residential applications for infrequent use. This can be installed in
compact areas with little operational space. The sliding ladder slides down
in 3 sections and is simple to install and easy to operate.
Features included:
• Minimal Opening size, as the minimum
operating frame size is 380mm x 400mm
• Maximum reach is 3000mm*
• Minimum clearance required in the roof is
710mm
• Maximum working load is 120kgs
• Added handrail for safety when climbing or
leaving the attic
• Easy D.I.Y. Installation
• Comfortable non slip ‘D’ shaped rungs for a
secure and comfortable footing
• Safe construction conforms to International
Standards
Please allow adequate clearance to be able to
open the Sliding Access Ladder through your
manhole frame.

ideal D.I.Y. solution. Now includes added security with a hatch door lock
and the Attic Ladder is load rated at 130kg.

ARTICULATED LADDER
I ndustrial G rade
Kimberley’s new Retractable Articulating Attic Ladder consists of a timber ceiling frame.
A telescopic hand rail is included.
This ladder is fully assembled, and is easy to install.
The ladder is secured to a hinged ceiling panel and is constructed of cast aluminium.
Cast Aluminium provides high stability and the load bearing is tested to 450kgs.
Available in a range of sizes with an opening frame size of up to 1000mm wide including a
Fire Rated Version with a frame size of 700 x 1200mm.
Also included is a pole with hook & eyebolt.
Features include:
• Easy & Smooth Operation
• Adjustable anti-slip steps
• Hand rail can be mounted on either left or right hand side
• Can be secured with a padlock to lock ladder open (except KASW50)
• Rung Distance 250mm
• Frame Height ranges between 250mm - 320mm
• Only requires less than 3kg of force to operate

250mm. A Maximum of 2 Extension kits can be installed.
