Coil quality
The coil is manufactured using grade 316L stainless steel,
which is extremely corrosion resistant, making it the perfect
choice for the Greenstore unvented and solar compatible
unvented cylinder series.
There are two different coil output sizes within the
Greenstore cylinders. Within the 90-180 models, a 32kW

rated coil is utilised, whilst the 210-300 models have a
class-leading 39kW rated output coil.
As well as satisfying the new-build requirements of SAP,
the benefits could include lower energy consumption and
heating bills for the end user.

What is ErP?
The ErP Directive, which is a new regulation
set by the European Union, is designed to drive
improvements in the efficiency and performance of
heating and hot water products. Its purpose is to
ensure that end users are aware of the level of
energy efficiency inherent within their appliances.
As such, the Directive will help improve the overall
efficiency of the housing stock, while enabling
homeowners to reduce their energy bills. The ErP
regulations cover boilers, combination boilers,
heat pumps and other heating appliances up
to 400kW.
What is Energy Labelling?
The Energy Labelling involves a label which we are
familiar with today on washing machines and

regulations introduce Europe-wide energy labelling
requirements for boilers, combination boilers,

Most condensing boilers will fall within the
A band, which requires them to achieve more
than 90% seasonal efficiency, while renewable
technologies such as heat pumps will likely
be in the A+ or A++ bands (depending on

The Greenstore cylinder series can supply outlets above

However the unit should be sited to minimise 'dead leg'

Please note, some systems may require a check valve to be installed depending on the position of the boiler to the cylinder – in order to prevent
gravitational circulation.
The Worcester Greenstore unvented cylinder is designed to be installed with any gas- or oil-fired boiler. It features 1 coil
and a G3 compliant Inlet Control Group.
The Worcester Greenstore solar compatible unvented cylinder is designed to be installed in conjunction with the
Greenskies solar package. The lower coil is connected to the Greenskies solar system and controls as per the Greenskies
instructions. The solar sensor supplied as part of the Greenskies collectors inserts into the lowest pocket. The upper coil is
connected to the secondary appliance, which will heat the cylinder if insufficient energy is available from the lower coil.
Either of the coil connections may be utilised as the flow or return on a Greenstore cylinder.
