2015 Senior Magazine
Chief Editor’s Note
I caught wind that there used to be a student made newsletter for GKHS. I liked the idea of students publishing their own writing for a real audience and, most importantly, tailoring what they
write about based off of their own interests. So, my English 400 class tried our hand at crafting an
end of year magazine that captured their own interests over the past four years. The magazine
imitates a retrospective “Best of” issue that one would find in Entertainment Weekly or Rolling
Stone.
Keeping in mind the goal of shaping a magazine around the interests of the students, the class
chose which topics they would write about. After trimming a list of about fifty down to fifteen to
twenty, we decided who would write what. For the most part, each group received a topic that
they were genuinely interested in.
Once assignments were provided, data collection began. I would like to thank all of the teachers
who allowed students, against my best wishes, to barge into your room like they owned the place
in order to hand out questionnaires or take pictures. We wanted this magazine to represent as
many students and teachers as possible, so sometimes we had to extend our reach outside of our
classroom. Overall, I was very impressed with the turn out of responses we had for various questionnaires, interviews, and other forms of data collection. Thank you, once again, to those who
helped. This is my first time ever trying a venture like this, so there was certainly a fair amount of
headaches. Hopefully it proves to be worth the work; I’m sure it will be.
When considering the goal of a “student made” magazine, I tried to keep myself out of their work
and ideas as much as possible. But now I will take the floor, just for a moment, and then leave the
next thirty-some pages to the students who made them. I want to thank the senior class, the rest
of the student body, fellow teachers, staff, administration, and anyone else who walks these halls.
If it wasn’t for the outstanding culture of this school, then no one would want to take the time and
effort to put these memories on a page. If students are willing to try and capture their experiences
in a simple magazine, then one thing is for sure—they’re not running from high school. They’re
not looking at these days as merely a nasty spell that will soon pass (although some may argue
differently). They are finding something worth keeping. Something worth looking back on one,
two, thirty years down the road. And that is what matters.
But, seniors and classes to come, don’t drown in a vast sea of nostalgia! Go out in the world and
make another story worth telling. (That’s pretty sappy for a magazine that contains articles about Justin Bieber
and Nicki Minaj…)

Boys Soccer– Erik Tomlinson
Girls Soccer– Ashley Grimm
Erik Tomlinson has been on the boys’ varsity soccer team
for all four of his high school career. Erik played left or
right mid field. Before every game Erik had his own routine, his own pre-game workout. “I wouldn’t do anything to heavy, just doing something little would make
by legs feel better for during a game” said Erik. During a
game Erik’s main goal is to satisfy himself on how he
plays. His favorite memory is scoring against Stillman
Valley in the sectional final game of his junior year. “It’s
not because I scored-scoring was a good feeling-but
hearing the fan section yelling for me, it pushed me to
keep going.” Erik said “After the game knowing I scored
the only goal was a cool feeling.”
Ashley Grimm has been on the
girls’ soccer team all four
years of her high school career. She played center midfielder. Before every game
Ashley eats something healthy
like fruit and she listens to
music. “My goal for every
game is to play hard and
score” Ashley said. “My team
is like my second family to
me.” Ashley’s favorite moment with her team was during her senior year.
Her team took 3rd place in the Byron Tournament. She said "It was special to me because it
was the first time we won a trophy as a team.”
Baseball– Joe Murray
Joe Murray has been playing baseball throughout his four years in
high school. He plays right field and he pitches. “Before every

as an individual. “Before every game I like to put my jersey on and be there to support the JV team and get myself happy” she said. Team bonding or team dinners
were special to Kayleigh; it is something she will never
forget. “Those moments are my favorite because we are
a team and not just playing basketball together.”
Football– Hunter Rogers
Hunter Rogers has been a safety and wide receiver in the four
years of playing football. Before every game Hunter likes to listen to music and eat until he has to get ready to play. “My goal
when I go on the field is to do my job” he said. Hunter has a
special moment that he will always remember. He reflects “My
sophomore year I was pulled up to play on the varsity team. It’s
something I will always remember because it was an achievement.”
Softball– Karli Lancaste
Wrestling– Christian Ordlock
Christian Ordlock has wrestled all four years of high
school. He likes to get focused before every meet,
by putting his headphones
in and warming up. “My
Goal is to score as many
points as I can, and win the
match” he said. Christian
remembers a kid freshman, sophomore, and junior year
and the kid had beaten him every time. “My senior year
I finally pinned the kid that has beaten me three years
in a row. This is something I will always remember because it’s something I’ve always wanted.”

high school career. She plays is

pregame routine; “If I have an
away game I like to sit in my
seat and focus and listen to my

some pretty dramatic things; she is like a fountain of

when they struggle with a lesson.
Mr. Pierce: If you’ve ever sat
through one of his classes you’d
know that we could fill a page with
quotes he says. However the one
used most by him is: “It is what

Mr. Lauer: He is like a

quote, always yelling
the most cliché things
about pushing yourself
to get better: “Step
up and be a leader.”
Mr. Baumann: Being an English teacher, he has an enhanced
vocabulary. Most of the time, you don’t even know what
he’s talking about. It is also rumored that he is an 80 year old

Homecoming Week
By: Hannah Ready and Shawnee Watson
Every year our student body
gets so pumped up for
Homecoming week. It’s
something everyone looks
forward to. Everyone goes
all out for every theme day.
Whether it be Superhero
Day. Or Country Day, almost everyone participates.
While asking people what
their favorite thing about
HC week was, Khloe Butz
said, “I love the whole
week, especially that Friday.
We all rush to the parade
after the pep rally, and
we’re either watching the
parade from Main Street, or
we’re riding with our peers
on floats.” Jaclyn Butler also
said, “While everyone is
standing on the sides of 72
watching you ride by.. It’s
so amazing to be a part of a
town with so much pride.”
Also, that Friday of HC
week, our school decks out
in Orange and Blue. For the
past few years we’ve also
created a lip dub. That
Wednesday, Girls Powderpuff Football is always
played! This is by far the
most fun week of the year!
The Seniors will definitely
miss this week the most!
Freshman Class of 2011
Freshman Class of 2014
The freshmen
now are a lot
louder.
They use their
cellphones and have
different technology
than we did as
freshmen.
As freshmen, we wore sweat pants and sweatshirts
almost everyday along with boots. The freshmen
now have a lot better style then we did!

10.
Big Bang Theory:
A show about a woman who moves into an
apartment across the hall from two brilliant but socially
awkward physicists’, and she shows them how little they
know about life outside of the laboratory. This show has
been on since 2007 and has created a large fan base.
They have collected 45 awards and have been nominated
for 137 awards. Students like this show because of its
awkward humor.
9.
Workaholics:
A single-camera comedy featuring three friends who work together as telemarketers from 9 to 5 and live together from 5 to 9.
Workaholics has been on Comedy Central since 2011 and is continuing to get good reviews. This show is popular with the students who dream to live the lifestyle of Blake, Adam, and Ders.
8.
Vampire Diaries:
Vampires
,
Werewolf’s and Witches, oh my! This show is about a
teenage girl who is in a love triangle with two vampire
brothers. Since 2009 this show has won 28 awards
and been nominated for 38 of them. When asked why
they like this show, one student said they like watching the interesting story line as well as the hot guys.
Gina Calendo went on and on about “Delena” and how hot Ian Somerhalder is.
. Pretty Little Liars:
7
Since 2010
this has been a hit show about four best friends who band
together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal
their darkest secrets, while unraveling the mystery of the
murder of their best friend. It draws viewers in every Tuesday with a false promise of telling them who “A” is. This infuriates some students, but overall it only makes them like it more.
6.
How I Met Your Mother: From 2005 to 2014 this show about
a father recounting to his children, through a series of flashbacks, the journey he and his four
best friends took leading up to him meeting their mother. This show had a lot of praise during
its 9 seasons because it made viewers laugh every week with its legen– wait for it– dary jokes.
Although many students were disappointed in the series finale.
5.
Friday Night Lights:
A show about the trials and tribulations of small town
Texas football players, their friends, family, and coaching staff. From 2006 to 2011 this show collected many
fans. Now with Netflix it has an even larger fan base.
When asked why they liked this show, students mainly
recognized the cast and storyline.
4.
Friends:
While this show may be from
1994, it is still a hit show that follows the lives of six
20-something friends living in Manhattan. Due to the
reruns on TV and Netflix having the series available
for binge watching has caused it to be just as big a hit
as it was in the 90’s. Students like Friends because it
brought humor to real life situations while also delivering a happy ending.
3.
Blue Mountain State:
While this show only went on for three short seasons, it
has accumulated a huge fan base, and this can be
attributed to Netflix. This series showed three incoming
freshmen attending Midwestern college football powerhouse Blue Mountain State who must quickly adapt to
college life and juggle football, girls, classes and nonstop hazing. The fans love this show so
much that they are now creating a movie about this show. Students picked this series in top
three because of how fun they made college look as well as the jokes and humor.
2.
Breaking Bad:
From 2008 to 2013 Breaking Bad drew viewers in
every week with its dramatic and suspenseful episodes about a chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with a terminal lung cancer, and teams up
with his former student, Jesse Pinkman, to cook
and sell crystal meth. Pinkman’s famous quotes
about female dogs are one of the most remem-
bered things about the show.
1.Orange is the New
Black:
The story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her
thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in
prison after being convicted of a decade-old
crime of transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend. This show is fairly
new and was only available on Netflix, but that didn’t stop it from rising to fame.
With a new season coming out in June students are looking forward to its humor
and strange setting.
The Life Of Paan
By: Callie Busby
Paan is from Thailand, and she came to Genoa Kingston High School
during the 2014-2015 school year. She came to the school to be a
senior and she will be leaving right after graduation. Paan explains,
“This exchange year taught me a lot. I think I've grow up a lot more
and see the world differently from I used to. I’m also in cross country
and on the soccer team. I will always remember that I'm a Cog and
that I went to GKHS.” The reason that Paan came to the states is because she wanted to advance her English skills. She has been to the
states once before and really liked it and wanted to come back. Paan
has plans to go to College in Thailand, but she often thinks about
wanting to go to college here. No matter where she goes to college,
she knows that she wants to come back and visit friends and family
here. “These 10 months of memories will last forever. Thank you
everyone for giving me such a good
memory and
experience.” says Paan.

Football Games
Below: The 2014 –2015
seniors of the Varsity Football Team
By: Shawnee Watson and Hannah Ready
Every year it seems that football games,
home and away, are something our student body looks forward to the most.
Win or lose, football has always been a
big part of GK; whether it’s the football
players or the fan section, pride has never been a problem. While asking people
what some of their favorite things were
from the past four years, many of them
mentioned football games. Marcus Holley recalled “Running out of the tunnel at
home games and hearing the fan section
explode when we score as well as the
fans storming the field at the end of
games…that’s irreplaceable”. It was crazy
to see that sometimes at away games our
fan section was bigger than the home
teams. Joe Murray said “when we were
down at halftime against Harvard, and
the fan section was yelling like crazy and
it gave us motivation to come back and
win the game 28-23; it’s always
nice to know that our school
has our back.” Football games
will always be GK’s most spirited sport.

2015’s Top Teacher Awards
Most Athletic
Mr. Henkel, a well liked teacher at GKHS, was nominated
“most athletic” by the 2015 seniors. We asked Mr. Henkel
how he felt about his accomplishment, and he responded
with , “Just verification that I. STILL GOT IT!”
Book Worms
Ms. Wilkins, the librarian, came
in first for the biggest book
worm. She stated that “ My nose
is always buried in a book and I
get very excited and enthusiastic when discussing books. I can’t
Mrs. Barr , a math teacher, was
nominated most athletic by the
seniors of 2015. Mrs. Barr was
gone last year and did not get
to spend the year with the students that are now seniors. We
asked her how she felt about
the class of 2015 and she said“
I missed them last year” Mr. Baumann, was nominated
as the book worm teacher. We
asked him what he thinks about
the class of 2015, and he said, “I
think they’re a bunch of top
notch individuals. But only if
they keep on (or finally start)
reading after high school. Start
to wean yourselves off of
League of Legends!”
Nominated as best dressed is the one and
only Mr. Pacini. However, he may be the
best dressed, but he’s not the best at keep
“secrets.” He told us
not to tell, but Mr.
Pacini revealed, “ I

keep quiet about me
wearing the same pair
of pants everyday.
After all I have a reputation to up hold being the best dressed
teacher.”
Can he really be the
best dressed now after telling us about his
one pair of pants!
Most Creative
Mrs. Beynon was chosen for the most creative
women teacher in GKHS. Who knew the art
teacher would be creative? She stated, “it makes
me very happy to know that my students can see
my creativity, and hopefully they use their own
Best Dressed
In first with the most creative wardrobe is
the one and only Mrs. McPheeters. She
has an abundant amount of clothes that
match the crazy energetic side of her. Mrs.
McPheeters exclaimed, “I take a lot of
pride in building my wardrobe, finding
outfits for various occasions like work,
band gigs, and just
hanging out.”
Mr. Rucker.. CREATIVE OR CRAZY? When asked about how he
felt about being most creative he said, “I feel that students just
understand how hard I have it. Being a double minority (bald
and Ginger) they know the great struggles I have to face on a
daily basis. Plus I am surrounded by so many boring and bland
people like Mr. Foster and Mr. Baumann. Sometimes they can
bog down your creativity. Students see that even with these
challenges I have managed to maintain a creative and imaginative life. They must have also downloaded my last album on
ITunes entitled ‘Elevator Music not for the Elevator.’ Shout out
to Timberland on the collaboration.”
The Funniest
Mr. Bolger came in first for the funniest. He said,
“ I am honored, but also confused. I don’t remember any of them actually laughing at anything I said in class” The confused looks on the
kids faces are because Mr. Bolger is more of a
dry humor kind of man.
No comment was given at this time for the
funniest female teacher.
The Most Strict
Coming in the winning spot for the strictest female teacher is .. drum roll please, Mrs. Henkel.
Even though she wasn't the happiest about
wining this category, she claimed the fame.
Mrs. Henkel said, “Honestly I am actually less
strict than when I originally started teaching,
imagine that!” Mrs. Henkel thinks of herself as
more of an “old school” kind of teacher! Award
aside, she still has a fun and out going personality.
How high can expectations be set? Well for Mr.
Pierce, the strictest male teacher, they are set
very, very high. When we asked him how he felt
about the award, he said that he wasn’t happy.
He also stated, “ I have high expectations and
maybe this seniors have not lived up to
them” ...BUT CAN ANYONE?

10.
Divergent:
The first movie of a trilogy about a world divided by
factions based on virtues, Tris learns she's Divergent and won't fit in. When
she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must
find out what makes Divergents dangerous before it’s too late. This movie is
popular among students because it’s an action movie mixed with Sci-fi.
9. Interstellar: A movie about a team of explorers travel through a wormhole in an attempt to ensure humanity's survival. This film was ranked in the
top ten because students liked how it made them think because it was
“trippy.”
8. Guardians of the Galaxy: A group of intergalactic criminals are forced
to work together to stop a fanatical warrior from taking control of the universe.
Students liked this because it was fantasy and sci-fi mixed with comedy. Also,
Chris Pratt <3
7. The Fault in Our Stars: Two teens, both who have different
cancer conditions, fall in love after meeting at a cancer support group.
This movie may sound like the most depressing thing ever... and that’s
because it is.
6. The Maze runner: Thomas is deposited in a community of boys
after his memory is erased, soon learning they're all trapped in a maze
that will require him to join forces with fellow "runners" for a shot at
escape. Students enjoyed this movie because it combined suspenseful,
sci-fi and Dylan O’Brien. Yum.
5. The Hungergames: Mockingjay: Part one of the last in a trilogy about
Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she
shatters the games forever. Under the
leadership of President Coin and the advice
of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her
wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage. This movie is
well liked because Jennifer Lawrence delivers a powerful performance, and the
movie leaves you on the edge of your
seat wondering what will happen next.
4. 22 Jumpstreet: After
making their way through high
school (twice), big changes are
in store for officers Schmidt and
Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college. This
movie mixes action with comedy for fantastic result. Students
find this movie hilarious because it has an immature sense
of humor and Jonah hill is awesome.
3.
Fast and Furious 7:
Deckard Shaw seeks revenge against Dominic
Toretto and his family for his comatose brother.
This movie was very sentimental for Fast and
Furious and Paul Walker fans, because it was
the last movie he had started to work on before
his passing. To quote Joe Murray, “I cried.”
2
. American Sniper:
Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle's pinpoint accuracy saves countless lives on the
battlefield and turns him into a legend. Back
home with his wife and kids after four tours
of duty, however, Chris finds that he can't
leave the war behind. Many students were a
fan of this movie because it showed a side
of the United States armed forces that hasn't been shown by many other movies.
1.
Wolf of Wallstreet:
Based on the true story of Jordan
Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stock-broker living the high life to his
fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. Students
liked this movie because it had a fantastic storyline,
mixed with comedy, and also a
good cast. Not to too mention
the scene where Jordan has
difficulties getting home in his
car.

Type of car: Ford Mustang
Name: Black Beauty
Type of car: Pontiac G5
Name: Sheila.
Story: The first day I had the car, the brakes

Perks of the car: Griffin explains, “The car is

What he would change: He didn't want to
change too much to his car, but he said he
would like to supercharge his car.
Dream car: One day Griffin would hope to

Perks of car: Chase says, “It gets a

Type of car: Jeep Wrangler
What he wants to change: He

a turbo on it.
Name: Beaut
Story: One sunny day I was just

business and the drive shaft just
randomly fell off. It’s happened a

Perks of the car: It has four wheel

Story: Chase hasn't had his car for
too long, so the best story would
probably be getting the car. He
met with the owner of the car at
his family owned pizza place, and
the car was sitting out in the back.
Chase describes the story: “We introduced ourselves and he took us

he over uses racial slurs. He raps about

Iggy left for the United States at the age of 16 to start a career in hip hop. She first got recognition after the music videos went viral on YouTube. Recently during shows, Iggy free styles.

8 Genius Senior Pranks
(That
Never Happened) By: Justyn Morton, Avery Harmon, and Kassie Holden
8. Hump Day Camel:
Bring a camel on the last Wednesday of the
year for “hump day.”
First we would need to acquire a camel likely
from the Brookfield zoo then on the last
Wednesday of the year (May 13th) we
would bring it in likely during a passing period so as to increase the number of people
that would see it.
6. Air Horn Announcement:
7. Principal Corn:
To do this we would need several large bags of corn from
the surrounding farms
Then we would need to open
the principal’s windows and
begin dumping the bags in
his office until it reached
window height .
5. Hallway Nap: Block off the
To do this we would need at least one kid in the office at the hallway with “sleeping “ students.

To do this would probably require a cooperaJust as Mr. McPherson begins his daily “all right, all right all

being asleep. The more the merrier.
4. Graduating Spiderman
To do this we would need a volunteer
student (likely one who isn’t afraid of
heights) to dress up as Spiderman and
drop from the ceiling during the graduation ceremony. Then tap the principal on the shoulder.
3. Car Show:
For this plan we would need the principal’s keys. After getting them, we would drive his car through the
garage doors leading into the ag mechanics room, through the garage doors leading to the hallway,
and then through the garage door that leads back stage. After removing the speakers and curtains,
we can move the car onto the auditorium stage directly in the spotlight.
2. Floating Glitter Bombs:
To do this prank we would need several black biodegradable balloons that are partially with glitter and
several green laser pointers.
The balloons would be placed all around the school,
and when a green laser pointer is focused on one it
causes a reaction where the balloon will pop.
1. Cessna in the Parking
Lot:
To do this we would need to
borrow/rent/steal a Cessna
and put it on a trailer and
tow it to the student parking
lot and then surround it with
cars to give the illusion it is
normal.
Khloe Butz- Khloe has recently won the record for the most attempts at running for president. After running, and failing for over 8 times, she finally gave
up the dream. Then, after trying to get Beyoncé to be her spokesperson for all
those campaigns, Beyoncé filed a restraining order saying she cannot be within 500 ft of her, which ruined Khloe’s life goal of
seeing Beyoncé front row.
Gina Calendo- Gina has recently been sentenced to 25 to life for murdering her 82 year old husband. After a mysterious “fallen down the stairs”
was looked at by forensics, it was determined that he was pushed. Gina
lost the almost 1 billion of combined life insurance and savings.
Griffin McNeal- Since college, Griffin has failed at becoming a high school football
coach. He has meanwhile, gained 100 pounds from dietary choices and couch
surfing, yet still tries fitting into his letterman jacket. However he did end up marrying a model after college, but after he gained the first 30 pounds she left him.
Paige Oucheriah-Paige has spent the past 10 years of her life at
concerts and following bands around the country, but has never met anyone except
the T-shirt vendors.
Shawnee Watson- Shawnee got smaller and smaller with age, and at the ripe age of
30 she stands 11 inches tall. Lucky Charms reached out to her to be their new female mascot and she now lives in a mansion.
Mr. Baumann- After putting off engagement with his girlfriend for so long, she
decided to leave him. After the devastation, he decided to check himself into a
nursing home at age 30 to be around people his own age. Then to make matters
worse, his arthritis kept him from jamming on the banjo with his homies.
Uriel Espinoza- Harvard didn’t work out.

Real, Honest Thoughts
I asked my senior class to respond to an anonymous survey in which they were supposed to write
honest thoughts about teachers at GKHS. It was difficult to include some teachers because I only
have a class of thirty, and there are some teachers that no students have had. But, this is what
they had to say…(note: I did not edit their responses, so sorry if there are any misspellings!)
Ms. Balaskas: I feel she can bring a lot of character here.
Mrs. Barr: Makes sure that everyone understands the material
before moving on. I will never forget the quadratic formula because of that little jingle.
Mr. Baumann: Makes the class fun and interesting and dishes
the jokes back out after getting hit by one and doesn't get mad
when you joke around with him
Ms. Beynon: She has always pushed me to do my best and to
never give up, and because of her, I will keep trying my best
every day!
Mr. Bolger: Mr. Bolger is my favorite!! His jokes give me life.
Mrs. Church: Absolutely love her, I've known her since freshman year and she is fantastic.
Mrs. Foster: Mrs. Foster is so kind, she loves helping others!
Also she is so funny!
Mr. Foster: Made health very easy to understand, he always
made us to the best projects that none of us hated doing. He
always makes jokes and he never lets class get boring.
Mr. Frank: The Don of GKHS.
Mr. Fromi: I love the fact that you made vision quest references
in your class
Mrs. Fruit: Her classes are a lot of work, but you learn so much.
Mr. Henkel: Mr. Henkel is a baller. He is pretty funny.
Mrs. Henkel: If you don't know anything about chemistry, have
one conversation with her, you'll know everything.
Mrs. Hughes: Fitness was great and you figured out how to
make everyone actually participate.
Mrs. Hulstedt: You could be having a bad day and walk in to her
class for something or see her and she can make you smile.
Mr. Jahnke: Stylish! And seems to work really good with high
schoolers.
Mr. Jankovich: Mr. J is super chill, he has great taste in music,
and he's an awesome teacher and person in general.
Mrs. Jenkins: Made geography enjoyable and fun to learn. Really liked the country project we did where we had to bring in
food and stuff about their culture.
Mr. Lauer: He takes gym very seriously, he can be very chill, and
he's super nice.
Mrs. McPheeters: Puts emphasis and meaning into everything
and makes things interesting. Always has a positive attitude and
is very energetic.
Mrs. Nicholson: She always cracks me up when I hear her in the
halls.
Mrs. Orsucci: I haven’t had her, but I hear she is doing a really
good job. Would probably have made me better in Spanish
Mr. Pacini: Teacher with style! One of my favorite teachers.
Mrs. Pascolla: She always has the best books for her English
class to read and she always lets you do things in partners so
you understand it. She explains herself so well anyone can understand.
Mr. Pierce: Pierce taught some good life lessons and was able
to stir up a debate even from the quietest of people. His classes
actually made us think and wasn't all based on how you did on
a test. his teaching style is unique
Mrs. Rauman: I miss Mrs. Rauman selling food, but she has such
a kind heart.
Mr. Rucker: He is the school spirit in this school
Mrs. Sandora: She is very cool, she always makes her classes
fun with the projects she has the students do or the music she
plays during class.
Mr. Sellers: You should get off the ball and punch separate. It
really motivates me when you have your freak outs.
Mrs. Spannraft: Physics was fun. Shes a cool teacher and six
flags was fun.
Mrs. Thorson: She is so friendly! I wish I had her when I took
Spanish my freshmen year.
Mrs. Wilkins: Mrs. Wilkins is like family to me! She has always
been there for me when I need her. She always thanks me for
all the work that I’ve done for her, but what she doesn't understand is that she has made a very big impact in my life and I will
never forget that.
Mr. Wilmarth: Mr. Wilmarth is my favorite teacher. Hes a big
motivator and always brings so much energy that you feel inclined to do better. He always believes in you and I wish he
came before senior year. He’s also a great football coach and
brings a lot of knowledge to the table.
Mrs. Yargus: Pastry arts is the bomb!
Mr. McPherson: He was always at athletic events and knows
majority of the students.
Mr. McCarty: He actually listens to what I have to say when I
get in trouble. He tries to help students out before he just punishes them.
