Seminar Virtual Incubation and Internship

Dissemination-exploitation event of I2AGORA project in joined effort with CBVI project.
Universities of the 21st Century are expected to reconsider their relationship with both regional and
global economy. Society increasingly expects added value of higher educational institutes in the
knowledge circulation and creation both regional and transnational. Universities must reach out to
workers & learners to promote entrepreneurship and enterprise creation. ICT can play a important
role as an enabler.
Practical placement may act as an important pillar of it, as well as a multifunctional tool for
improving the employability of graduates. While flexibility of course delivery and physical/virtual
mobility have received quite a lot of attention, leading to widely available good practice
cases/guidelines, in contrast much less focus were directed on the improvement of flexibility and
internationalization of practical placement periods. The prime objective of the I2AGORA project is
to open up synergic potential between EU projects, focused on this challenging area. The CBVI
project has the objective to demonstrate a social and learner-centric entrepreneurship environment
for the acceleration of new starters and cross border knowledge exchange.
With this seminar both projects want to discuss their preliminary results with each other and with
relevant (regional and European) stakeholders. The main purpose is dissemination of acquires
knowledge as well as adjust preliminary results to the needs of different stakeholders.

This Museum Library preserves the undamaged library holdings of the university’s
predecessor, the Selmec Academy for Mining and Metallurgy, operating between

IDEAGORA – Marketplace for ideas and proposals
The term "ideagora" is used to describe a type of online community known
as a “marketplace for minds”. The word comes from “agora,” an ancient
Greek marketplace or forum, with the addition of “idea” making it a
marketplace or forum for ideas and innovation. The so-named ideagora is
becoming increasingly important as businesses are beginning to use the
scientists and problem-solvers on the Internet to find solutions to the
problems they are facing.
